I was out in the field for cheer practice. Our captain was giving us the instruction about our new routines. Kimberly Richards the captain of the cheer squad. She is a wonderful cheerleader and a very good friend of mine.
"Ella, sweetheart could you please help me with these idiots," she said jokingly
"Of course" I trotted beside her.
"We have tryouts in an hour and I want you by my side on that table judging all the weirdos" she laughed
"Okay" I smiled
She flipped her hair back. "How are things with you and that side-dick of yours"
"He is not a side-dick," I said frowning.
She scoffed. "Keep telling that to yourself"
"He is not," I mumbled
"How's the sex?" She asked bluntly
"We are not having sex," I said but the color on my cheeks betrayed me.
"You don't need to lie to me, Ella," she said
"I am not" I declared sternly
She sighed loudly. "The new girl is interested. I think she'll make a good cheerleader" she said changing the topic
My ears perked up. "What new girl?"
"Brunette, brown eyes" she explained.
The girl from the hallway crossed my mind. "I don't know, I skipped school today" I shrugged suddenly feeling jealous of the fact that why Ace was talking to her.
She snorted. "Went on one of your sexcapades with Ace?"
"No!" I said aggravated
"Whatever you say," she said walking away and leaving me alone with my thoughts. I rolled my eyes and huffed.
"Hey, Ella Bella" an annoying voice fell on my ears.
"What do you want, Hunter?" I asked, without turning back.
