once i finally made it down the stairs i walked in the kitchen grabbing one of the breakfast burritos my mom made i took a few bites before checking my phone and seeing it was time to go so i hugged her putting it down and drinking some orange juice then i left out getting into my car turning the radio up and driving off the thirty minute car ride seemed way longer maybe it's because i didn't want to go but once it was over and i made it i got out my car grabbing my things and closing my door walking to the building like yesterday the custodian opened the door for me and i stepped in waving at the receptionist while pressing the elevator button
Receptionist: it's nice to see you got the job
Y: ugh i guess
Receptionist: starting off rough huh
Y: real tough
Receptionist: it gets better i promise
Y: i hope so
by now the elevator doors were open in front of me so i stepped on waving one more time before the doors closed and i was going up to the top floor it felt like everything was moving in slow motion like in one of those really horrible horror movies when the elevator doors opened again i stepped onto the top floor and went straight to mr penas office now i did not want a redo of yesterday so this time i knocked first and waited until i heard him tell me to come in and good thing i did because when i stepped in i saw justice sitting on his couch with her hair messed up while he was swiping his hands along his suit hopefully trying to knock the wrinkles out
Vallyk: may i help you
Y: you said yesterday i have to come to you when i first get here so that's why i'm here
Vallyk: oh yes my bad well since you're here go get me a cup of water
Justice: me too
Y: i don't have to listen to you
Vallyk: well you have to listen to me so go get me two cups of water
i just shook my head and walked out the room going into the break room and pouring two cups of water when mr trendz stepped next to me
Derek: your ass looks nice in that dress
Y: would it hurt for you to not be a freaking perv
Derek: what it's a compliment
Y: what's a compliment to you might not be one to others so stop
i rolled my eyes and finished the two cups of water and walked out yes i was kind of happy someone noticed how nice it sits in this dress but it's just the fact that i literally just met him yesterday and he's coming on way too strong when i made it back in the room i handed both cups to mr pena and he sipped one while handing the other to justice
Vallyk: alright that's it you can just roam around until i call you again
Y: oh actually can i tell you something
Vallyk: sure make it quick
Y: mr trendz gave me a compliment that kind of made me feel weird
Vallyk: what did he say
Y: he said my ass looked nice in this dress
Justice: you're complaining over that others girls would be glad and thankful
Y: well i'm not glad and i don't think he should've said it
Vallyk: he probably wasn't thinking and just made a mindless comment about what first came to mind
Y: so he can say stuff like that as long as it was the first thing to come to mind but if i were to walk up to him and be like your dick print looks good in those pants then i'd be wrong
Vallyk: yes because to see someone's print you have to stare there for a while and form a response you can mindlessly look at a womans butt and instantly say something
Y: you just sound ignorant and sexist to me
Vallyk: enough of this conversation he said it too bad get over it and be glad
Y: ok i'll be glad and since there isn't anything else to do in here i might as well go flirt with him
i walked out the room pissed off because what the fuck now i meant what the fuck i said if he gets to make mindless ass comments like that when he wants then it doesn't matter anyways so hey might as well have some fun with it once i made it back in the break room he was still there so i stood next to him making myself a cup of coffee once it was done i took a small sip and turned towards him
Y: hey sorry about that little outburst i guess i should be glad someone noticed right
Derek: nah that's my bad i shouldn't have came onto you that strong especially since i just met you yesterday
Y: it's fine
Derek: you know me as mr trendz but call me derek
Y: oh ok derek
Derek: see you already say it perfectly
hmm maybe he isn't so bad we talked for another hour or two until justice walked in the room and we got quiet
Justice: ugh finally mr trendz i've been looking for you everywhere mr pena wants you in his office to discuss matters and he always wants you for whatever reason
y/n didn't respond she just rolled her eyes then walked out with derek talking to him and making jokes while they made their way to his office when they walked in and waited for him to speak they continued talking and laughing then y/n touched dereks chest mindlessly while he kept laughing during that moment was the exact one when mr pena turned around
Vallyk: this meeting was about stock market but maybe i should change it to keeping professional relationships in the work place
when mr pena said that me and derek looked at each other making oops faces and sort of laughing the meeting was so dreadful but once it was over me and derek went right back to talking
