Khai's P.O.V
"Milan let's go we can't keep Aunt JJ and Aunt Penelope waiting for us, they been wanting to see you for the longest".
"Here I come mommy I can't seem to keep my shoes on from falling". Milan pouted
"Oh sweetface, I'm sorry for fussing mommy's just frustrated cause Uncle Hotch is making me come in early for meeting the new member of the team and he wanted to see you in your first day of school outfit with Jack." I exclaimed.
"But make me a promise". I asked her. "We'll get Mickey D's after school if you have the best day and tell me everything that you did at school. You promise?" I asked with my pinky hold out with a questioning look on my face?
She looks at me with her little smile and starts saying yes with her pinky looped against mines.
"Okay, I love you sweet pea" I tell her and I pull her in for a hug
"I love you too mommy" she hugs me back
"Okay now let's go to the B.A.U. to go see everyone." I smiled
*otw to the B.A.U.
"let's go inside, shall we?" I raised an eyebrow
"mhmmm". Milan says
As we walk in, I noticed something familiar ab out that haircut and when he turns I see the man who left me 6 years ago and the hate and resentment comes up bubbling in my skin and I block out every ounce of happiness that was once in me.
"Mommy!" Milan screams
"Yes baby?" I asked.
"Mommy your squeezing my hand" she cried
"Ohh my little mijá, I'm sorry". I exclaimed.
As me and Milan were trying to walk away I heard Hotch call my name and I was feeling this ounce of regret and pure hatred for this job at this point.
"Yes Hotch?" I gritted my teeth to let him know that I wasn't in the mood
"Agent Avery please meet" as Hotch was finna explain who he was but I cut him off as soon he as was finna introduced Luke
"Hotch there's no need to explain who Luke Alvez is" I said with pure hatred in my voice
Now if you don't mind Hotch, I need to get "Milan to school so they won't report her missing". I told him
As I was walking out I gave Hotch the look like "that's the father"
and he nodded back and went back to introducing Luke to everyone and when I drop Milan off at school I park suddenly and cried out of frustration and raged to ask why did he have to come back my life was normal and going on track as I planned it to be.
