I walked up the stone path that lead to the magnificent mansion I live in.

It seems so beautiful and perfect from the outside but inside lies a beast.

A monster that no one knows of.

As soon as I opened the gates and stepped in. He came down the stairs.

"You're home." He said menacingly.

"Yes. Mrs. Weiss wants to have dinner with us." I said in a careful tone wondering what it is that he knows.

"And what did that boy Zayn want?" He asked anger lacing his voice.

"He wanted to ask if i liked the market his family organised and he asked how you were." I said my hands felt sweaty and clammy.

As soon as I saw his eyes flare in anger I knew he didn't believe me.

He walked down the stairs in a fast pace and came next to me. He grabbed my wrist roughly and dragged me away from the foyer.

I looked back at the figure and noticed a dark figure and in the blink of an eye it was gone.

As soon as we entered the lobby he let go of my hand and slapped me making my eyes sting with tears.

"Stop lying to me." He said in a sadistic voice.

"I'm not lying." I said looking down at the floor.

The sound of the doorbell ringing echoed through the house making him curse.

He shouted at me to get the door and I rushed towards the gates and pulled them open to find Zayn staring at me.

My eyes were still glazed with unshed tears. As soon as his eyes fell on mine they widened.

"What's wrong?" He asked making it hard for me to hold everything back.

So I ran. I ran past him and into the forest that was next to our town which also happened to be right next to the mansion.

As I passed the window of the living room I saw him staring at me his eyes warm.

Reminding me of the reason I fell for him. But all those happy memories are now nightmares.

I heard footsteps thudding behind me and I didn't stop running until I was deep into the forest.

I turned around and faced who ever was following me.

"Now will you tell me what's wrong?"
