Y/n pov

I just got back from another mission early and was having a 'nice' conversation with Finral about his rather sad habit of flirting while on missions.

'Finral must have not recently got his shit beaten by me, since he's not listening'

"Finral, you are not paying attention are you?!" I ask in a tone only second to Yami

"Ack!! No Sir Y/n I'm listening. Please dont beat me" he screeches, muttering the last bit.

"Magna who is that scaring Finral?" a rather new voice questions. 'Must be one of the new rookies, great another one to beat some sense into!' I sadisticly plot.

"Ayy kee-" I cut Magna off with "Oh you must be the new magicless boy who Yami took a liking too!" I say with a malicious undertone under my fake joyous tone. As a newcomer he obviously didn't pick up on it.
"Yes I am!!!" he yells.
'oh a imperfection I already can correct' I internally smirk
"How about us three, me, you, and Finral have some nice training? Hmm?" I 'humbly' ask. I sense Finral trying to run with his teleportion magic with Ki, that Yami forced me to learn. Luckily I had a knack for it, it seems. As I am dragging them away towards the exit newcomer still processing and Finral trying to get away, the drunkard, Vanessa pulls them away.

As I am bout to question her, she cuts ME off with-
"Ah Ah, Y/n, Captain Yami told me to stop you from doing these things while he is away" She grins while taking another swig of her disgusting if I do say alcohol. Suddenly I sense an all too familiar Ki, my newly made boyfriend.

Yami pov

I am on my way back to my base, suddenly memories of y/n come into my head.

(Pre-dating) Flashback~
I was playfully flirting with y/n, as I made a habit out of it, seeing his reactions. His reaction this time seemed different, weird even his Ki was off. I thought I maybe broke past his limits, rich coming from me with "push past your limits" as my famous saying. I was right as he suddenly teleported (yes i said u can choose but this is essential) us to my room. There was a awkard silence but I could sense his Ki starting to spike, so was preparing for a violent payback. However he only let out a giant sigh.

Y/n pov
"you need to stop this habit of yours." I finally say after a few minutes suprised he  didn't interrupt the silence with questioning.
"Why?" is all he asks
"Because it was funny at first, but now I'm starting to take it serious." I say as I glare him down. He nervously chuckles but due to me also having superb Ki sensing i sensed more?
'why is he not showing more emo-' suddenly I am kissed by my rude captain. I  took my chance to deepen it by pulling him down, surprisingly he melts into it. Feeding into my already massive pride. We pull back for air, when he asks "Is that a appropriate response or answer or do I have to try again?" Not being dense I respond "Of course, so we are dating now I guess?!" I'm suddenly pulled into another make out session, later into it the building starts to rearrange itself. Meaning we spent quite some time here, we regretfully move out of each other's embrace.

Yami pov

I slightly blush at the memories and start to miss my lover. As I get closer to my hiddout I sense y/n. 'Isn't he supposed to be gone a till the day after tomorrow? Knowing y/n, he probably rushed it to get back to me.' I smirk, which only gets bigger at the thought of his sadistic behavior I sense him trying to do, luckily I ordered Vanessa to stop him from doing so. I feel his Ki hypen, in a way that meant he sensed me too. I suddenly see a all too familar blue under me and realize what he is a bout to do.
