Alfie's Pov -

'ALFIE WAKE UP WE ARE HERE!' I heard marcus saying as he shook me awake, I fluttered open my eyes and thought of her the most beautiful girl that i was actually going to meet for the first time in my life, I knew she was in love with another guy but I couldn't stop thinking how great it is to have her in my life even if we do just stay friends..

'Alfie I'm going without out you!' marcus yelled as he started getting out of the car
'I'm coming im coming' I jumped out of the car - I felt wide awake for some reason

'where are we meeting them?' marcus asked interrupting my thoughts
'Nandos I think, let's go we are running late!' I started running in the mall from the car park, typical Marcus parked ages away, as I heard marcus laughing his head off at my running..
We got there and got a table for 4 of us, I was soo nervous that zoe wouldn't like me!
'I couldn't believe she wasn't there yet, was she even gunna show, of course she will, she has to right?' i think silently in my head keeping my thoughts to myself

'do I have droopy eyes?' I asked marcus
'no you don't but alfie you need to remember that she has a boyfriend!'
'yes yes i know! There's nothing wrong with wanting to look good in front of your friends'  I rolled my eyes at Marcus and we continued talking.
As we were talking I noticed a beautiful girl with long ombrè hair that walked in the door with thousands of bags and a girl next to her with a big belly, i straight away knew that was Zoe as her beautiful deep blue eyes,
'ALFIE STOP YOU CANT HAVE HER!' I thought to myself
I walked over to the door and straight away introduced myself
'hey I'm alfie!' I said standing behind her, she jumped and stared directly into my eyes, I don't know how long we were standing their staring at eachother it felt like forever!
'hey I'm zoe!' she said in a bright happy mood!
after that we went and sat down at the table we ordered our food, we then talked for hours but I was mostly listening to Zoe I felt something, I felt a connection! it was a weird thing like we were meant to be! But obviously not because she has already got a boyfriend..
