Friends, family a happy life..everything I don't have. I mean a family who are slowly falling apart, pick one no friends or no supportive family.. I may have no friends but...one person could change this..the guy I have a crush on Lee Minho. His soft black hair, his death stare, his lip bite, his attitude he's got everything a girl like me could ever dream of, I'm Yuni a lonely boring girl 17 years old and going to a public school of 1000 students.
The bell rang for home room so I made my way there. I sat at the back not to be edgy just because why not?
Mr Davis wrote on the board what we would be doing for English, the board said Find a partner of the opposite gender and I'll instruct you all from there. I didn't know who to be partners with everyone hated me as it was let alone a boy, I saw Leeknow (Minho) look at me and smile as my heart skipped two beats I noticed he was walking my direction.
He said awkwardly "I felt bad for you by yourself, wanna be partners?"
Him asking me that gave me butterflies I couldn't breathe my heart was pounding it was a mess. I noticed I still needed to answer the question.
I nodded quickly "sure!" He chuckled as we found somewhere to sit.
Mr Davis gained everyone's attention finally and said "with your partner I want you to tell your partner at least 1 thing you like about them then write it down.
Nobody saw the purpose in the lesson I guess it was to build self confidence but anything to give Lee a compliment with a good excuse.
Leeknow laughed "okay!" He said looking at me with eye contact, I giggled "I like your smile" I said nervously as I felt the sweat build up in my palm.
Hyun paused for a second "thanks! I like your laugh" he said highly strung.
I smirked "thanks I'll try laugh more often" Minho simpered "then in that case I'll try smile more often"
No way no way! I had a conversation with my crush! And not just a conversation but he gave me a compliment too and I'm interlay sure he meant what he said!

He sighed as he looked up from his book "I hate the school uniform" he said with a slight laugh at the end. I shook my head "the skirts aren't bad" I said sharpening my pencil, he responded "maybe I should start wearing skirts then" he laughed nearly falling off his chair. I helped him back up as he apologised for falling, I said "it's okay"
He seemed lost in my eyes...he seemed as if he wasn't paying attention to the fact he was staring right at me with not a single word. I nervously asked " are you okay?" He stopped staring "oh sorry I'm...fine!" He said sounding brain boozled.
The second bell rang for lunch, I got up from my seat getting my belongings and making my way out of the classroom knowing Minho was walking behind me.
I sat alone at a table until Eun and all of her two friends Jia and Shi-ka all sat with me, just a quick introduction..their the popular girls who fangirl over Lee Minho, every girl in the school fan girls over him even one of the teachers did. Quick story time that teacher who fangirled over Leeknow started being really weird around him and the principal found out the teacher was making him uncomfortable and one time touched his leg and said something innerpropriat to him, the teacher got fired. Anyways the girls didn't say much until Jia asked out of the blue "how was it with Minnie?!?" She said as the others screamed. I tilted my head "uhh it was..great?" I said nervously.
Shi-ka screeched "no way why you out of everyone he doesn't even like you!" I sighed "your right he doesn't like me and he never will.." I paused as they all looked at eachother as to say no way she has a crush on Minho! I covered it up like their badly blended concealer "oh you know not that it matters!" I said scared of what they'd say. Eun nodded "ohhh" I looked over at where Leeknow was sitting to notice his eyes were on me he looked fixated with me, I smiled and waved confused as he waved back panicking.
He walked over to me as Eun, Shika and Jia started fixing their hair and asking eachother how they looked, even though they all looked like beaten up unloved barbie dolls they told eachother they looked hot.
Minho smiled "hey Yuni do you remember if I gave you back your pen that I borrowed?" He asked with his hand on his hip, I raised my eyebrows "you didn't borrow a pen.." I said understanding his plan, he was asking just so he had an excuse to speak to me without it being weird and awkward.
He nodded "oh right!" He went to walk off but Eun, Shi-ka and Jia all screamed "sit with us!!" They said all reaching for his wrist. He pulled his wrist free "ahh maybe not with you three" he said walking off. They all started whining "why does he like a weirdo like Yuni?!" I walked off annoyed with them just for breathing.
I was at my locker and noticed Minho was talking to his friend who's locker was next to mine. He tapped my shoulder as I turned around he asked "Yuni is it okay if I get you on messages?" He said getting his phone out of his pocket, I nodded "of course!" His friend looked at us both doing a heart with his hand as Minho slapped his friend as a joke.
I got my phone and stood next to Minho to get his number. I chuckled "got it!" He looked at me excited "sweet!" And walked off with his friend looking behind his shoulder at me smiling.
