Who is this person..?

MARINETTE'S POV:

           I stayed up late last night making a new design for Jagged Stone for his new performance. I completely forgot about school tomorrow and wasn't thinking at all... Not to mention a few hours before I got to work, me and Chat Noir were already at work for another Akumatized villian. So I was already exhausted from that.

         "Marinette, wake up!" Tikki said jumping on my pillow. I'm a hard sleeper so I didn't here her at all. "Marinette you're gonna be late again for school!" She tries taking off my covers but of course her little body can't move them. She flies out to my balcony and looks at the school, to see everyone walking in, and Alya and Nino waiting in the front. she quickly flies back in and yells in my ear; "Marinette! Let's go, get up! Nino and Alya are already there!"

         "GAH! Not again..." I said waking up startled. I quickly get up as fast as I could and quickly got ready for the day. I put my purse on and tell Tikki to go inside and that I put a macaroon inside for her to eat this morning.

        I run downstairs and see my mom and dad making fresh bread in the bakery. "Morning Marine-" I cut my dad off by running to the door, "Heh, morning guys! Got to go now bye!" I shut the door quickly and run out. I was in such a rush that I didn't look both ways, or even stopped before crossing the road. Then this car was coming straight toward me over the speed limit, when suddenly; "Marinette!" Someone had grabbed my arm pulling me away from the street. I couldn't see who they were because they had a black hood on and they covered there face with it...

    "Oh, Thanks! But, who are you?"

    "It doesn't matter, as long as your ok."

  Strange, They didn't want me to know who they were. It was now safe to walk and everyone started walking across the street. Of course, I went a little later because I got distracted. "Eek!" I speed walk across so I can get there before the light turns off. I then get to the school and see Alya and Nino still waiting.

   "What's the excuse this time Marinette?" Alya said folding her arms looking at me with a smirk on her face. "I uh, slept in again!" I rubbed the back of my neck trying not to look like I did anything stupid, like crossing the street when the light was off... "It's funny how your always late girl, because you literally live across the street from here."

   "She has a point Marinette, it's almost like your doing something secretive everyday." Nino said putting his arm around Alya.

  "Shoot, what do I say now?! Yes I have a secret life as a super hero saving Paris everyday!" I thought to myself. Before I could have said anything, the bell rang and we all went inside. "That's strange, Adrien didn't show up today. Maybe he is just late?" I thought to myself again. 

  Everyone got to class and Mrs. Bustier started to call roll. I wasn't listening because I was so focused on two things. One, who was the person from before? And two, where is Adrien at? He is never late. "Marinette? Marinette?" Alya tapped my shoulder, and then I was back in the world. "Marinette please pay attention." Mrs. Bustier said, marking me present on her chart. "Sorry miss.."

  "Adrien? Adrien Agreste?" Mrs. Bustier said looking around. 

"That's strange, Adrien isn't here today." She then marked him absent. But a little after she did, Adrien walked in the classroom.

   "Sorry for my tardiness Mrs. Bustier. We had a family situation." Adrien said placing his bag down and having a seat next to Nino. "That's alright Adrien, we understand." She scribbles off the absent mark and puts him as late. Then things went back to normal from there.
