Marinette ran through the halls of College Francoise Dupont. As always the stares and glares beated down on her but she ignored them. She had no time to mind them any attention.
She entered her homeroom classroom, on the receiving end of glares from most of her classmate. Most of which she had done favors for, helped in times of need. And now, and outcast, framed for crimes too big and elaborate for her to even think of. But they believed a lying brunette they barely knew for a few months over a sweet girl they had known for more than 4 years.
Oh Well.
She walked to the back of the classroom where Chloe waited for her.
"Mari! What is it with you and being late. This is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!"
"Good morning to you too Chloe." Mari chuckled.
"As payment for being late, I expect you have brought me some of your parents sweets. I may, or may have not left my lunch at home." Chloe played with her fingers in embarrassment.
"Sure Chloe, I hav-
"MARINETTE!!!" That was Rose. She, and most of their classmates, stood protectively around Lila, said girl with her head down, a curtain of hair covering her tear-stained face.
Who knew such a small midget could make so much noise, huh.
"Great." Mari groaned. Chloe scowled at the brainless minions. If Sabrina were here, she'd make an attempt at an intimidating glare. Well, as intimidating as she could.
"How DARE you threaten Lila in the bathroom. She has been nothing but nice to you since the first day and this is how you repay her!"
If only you knew, Mari thought internally.
"Leave Mari-bug alone you psycho! She didn't do anything." Chloe retorted
"Guys please! I don't want to cause a scene!" Lila Pleaded. She sounded insincere but no one noticed.
"Oh Lila, we're sorry but we have to do this! She can't just get away with something like this!" Mylene felt sorry for the girl. She thought Lila had a heart of gold and could never do anything wrong. Little did she know that it was Lila who ruined Mylene's favorite bracelets.
"Guys, let's calm down." Adrien was trying to resolve the situation. He never believed Lila, but they kept dragging him into everything. So much so he couldn't spend time with his real friends in public, only in private.
"Yeah, what did Mari even do?" Alya asked. She was divided. Her teacher, Ms. Bustier wanted her to befriend Lila, but Mari thinks she's a liar. So now she's divided between her teacher and the new girl or her best friend.
"She threatened Lila in the bathroom with beating her!" Rose exclaimed.
For some odd reason Juleka would stay silent during these episodes.
"Guys I didn't threaten Lila, or even look at her. I got here 5 minutes before class starts, and she looks like she just cried for ten minutes." Mari defended.
"But-"
"Okay class let's start today's lesson. Mari did you take attendance?" Ms. Bustier asked as she entered her classroom.
"No I was-"
"Marinette as class president it's your job to take attendance."
"Yes Ms. Bustier..."
"Well class today we will-"
Riiiing Riiiing
Mr. Damocles voice came over the loud speaker.
"May all students and faculty exit the building in an orderly fashion. A fire seems to have been detected in the cafeteria. All students and faculty are to evacuate immediately."
"Alright students please step outside the classroom in a single file lin-" most of the students had walked out during the announcement. The only ones left were Ms. Bustier and Marinette.
They both walked out together before Ms. Bustier stopped.
"Ms. We have to g-"
"Marinette I left the emergency folder in the classroom, could you go grab it?"
"But Ms. Bustier-"
"Marinette, as class president we need that folder and you need go grab it. Do you expect a pregnant woman like me to go?"
"..."
"GO!"
Marinette went running down the halls to the classroom. The fire hadn't spread as far to their classroom to Mari's relief. She grabbed the folder and bolted to the entrance.
The moment she stepped out, she heard a loud boom, and everything went black.

Akuma class pov.
Chloe, Adrien and Alya searched for Mari to see if she had escaped with another class. Nino stayed with the class in case she'd show up. That's when they heard something.
Boom
They looked towards the school that just went up in flames. A firefighter ran looking for survivors, to the sound of his team yelling objections.
He came out with limp Marinette ten minutes later.
"MARI!!"
They ran towards her only to be held back by firemen and doctors. All rushed to their friends side.
A pregnant women went up to the doctors. She didn't seem to notice the limp girl on a stretcher.
"Ms. Bustier! Mari just got out an-"
"I know Alya, I asked her to go back for the emergency folder."
They just stared at her, for a solid minute before Chloe began yelling bloody murder.
"ARE YOU MENTALLY BEHIND! WHAT IF SHE HAD DIED! THIS IS RIDICULOUS, UTTERLY RIDICULOUS! JUST WAIT UNTIL MY FATHER HEARS ABOUT THIS!"
"Chloe you need to calm down, we need to focus on Mari." Nino looked calm, but take a look on the inside, and his secret FBI agent would have been more concerned then usual.
"MARINETTE!!"
If Chloe had been harsh, than Ms. Bustier was not prepared to meet Mari's parents.
Time skip: one week later
Ms. Bustier was fired after the police looked at the security cameras. The board was involved as well. Marinette was fine, but the board saw fit that Ms. Bustier never teach again.
The students had the week off. The school had been damaged so bad, that it would be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. Mr. Damocles had talked to other schools, and one was willing to let in half the students into their new general studies program. The other half would go to a new school that had been under construction and only had half the student capacity. They were a few other option, but they wanted to keep the students together, and avoid more damage to anymore minors mental health.
The akuma class would be going to the school with the general studies program, under the guidance of a new teacher.
They weren't told much other that the school was prestigious and had a high reputation. It was a school for the arts and gifted minors. They accepted anyone with high talent from any background, wether it be family payed tuition or scholarship.
Their new teacher would be new to having her own class instead of just being a substitute. But she had a reputation of making bad students behave.
The school was named after its founder and first head master.
It was called Clemente's School for Arts
