The lady let the music play as they slowly fell asleep. They hoped they would find something new tomorrow. Maybe even her older brother she missed anyone she remembered still and she whispered. "I wish I could get some form of interaction with someone I know..." And with that she fell asleep.

Little did they know the universe was listening they had just been waiting for them to properly ask.
--------------------------------------

As the sun rose above the bunker. The small sprite Charles nudged their large colorless friend. They ended up dragging a bucket into the room and dumping it onto the lady. "HEY! What gives.... You know I don't like being woken up with freezing water...." The sprite chirped in agreement as they dragged the bucket out of the room.

The lady sighed as the got up and changed their outfit. They tossed their wet clothes on a stick to dry off so she could use them later. But after she got ready she went to prepare breakfast but was handed one of the surprisingly not rotting fruits. It was rare to find a fruit tree or bush that wasn't burning away from the black gunk coming off the Ancient terror and his troops.

"Alright Charles which kingdom should we explore today? Its been a while since we've explored home should we try there whacha say?" The lady asked as she got her tools ready.

The sprite chirped in agreement once more before spinning around in the air.

The lady had found Charles there a few years after most of the kingdoms were just rubble. It didn't take long for the two to grow a close bond.

Once the two were ready they climbed up the ladder to leave the bunker. The lady poked her head out only a little to make sure the coast was clear. Luckily it was and both her and Charles emerged from the lid of the bunker before it shut tight behind them. As the two set out on their journey the lady stopped here and there to view a few places that were once gorgeous.

One was once a small pond with a large waterfall. A special creature most locals labeled as a water goddess would visit and bless the pond. However once the Ancient Terror rose from its tomb the Goddess couldn't visit it. The water had turned into an icky green tone and bubbled. It had cursed the area around to with terrible growth and supported the life of creatures who destroyed the forest.

As they pushed onward they soon came to a clearing a very large one in fact. It was covered in a huge pile of stone and wood all of which were once part of a castle. The lady mainly focused on the middle of the pile she hadn't searched there before and she was hoping there would be more dried meat or canned foods. She knew at one point after her father left and never returned her mother had stockpiled on canned foods in case the locals ever needed food. Or in case the crops didn't produce food one year.

The lady always thought her mother was odd but one thing was for certain they cared for those around them. Including her hence why she stayed behind in hopes of being able to see her mother again.

She paused as a loud noise could be heard off in the distance. They looked around wondering what it was since it certainly wasn't a noise that the Ancient terror nor his minions made.

As they grew closer a man with a head of fire could be seen stepping through a blue portal.

To be continued~
