" You foolish child, we had to take a break just because you wanted to eat, Now you are sleeping!!Lord Sesshomaru's precious time is being wasted on you!" The familiar little green demon was shouting at a child who was sleeping peacefully under a tree and Ah -Un (their companion, 2 headed dragon) was listening with one eye open while pretending to be sleeping.
It has been 4 years, since end of Nauraku.Rin will turn 12 soon, slender tall but with firm built,she had that childlike face and habits. Sleeping without any care in the world as she was in care of her precious Lord but with the instinct of a sharp hunter when not with them.
Kagome was back, it has been a year now,Inuyasha and she were married soon after. Rin was living with Lady Kaede now as she was told by Lord Sesshomaru that she should live with humans for now and when she is an adult she can choose....but everyone knew that she made her choice already but still she was under her care.....
Sesshomaru occasionally brought her gifts . She has just become a woman recently( as in ancient times, she became a woman as her periods started) . She asked her Lord for a bigger present as her birthday gift after turning a woman..............Travelling???
-Flashback-
Just like a usual occasional visit, Sesshomaru and Jacken went to see Rin.
"Umm... Lord Sesshomaru..Please let me travel with you just for a month, please my Lord??" Rin said with pleading, sparkly eyes and cheerful voice.
Sesshomaru as usual just turned around without saying anything and continued to walk towards the forest. She hopped onto Ah -Un's back with a big smile and followed him. And Jacken just followed them bickering ....Rin you are a trouble !! Stop with your childish behavior...etc...etc.........
As usual he was there to give her a few presents. This time he gave her a pretty pink silk kimono, more like a Yukata,with white embroidery....The white belt made it look like the robes worn by angels. He also gave her a comb embedded with peals.( Jacken handed them to Rin).
One fine day,poor Jacken was suddenly given a pouch of gold coins and told" Find a kimono and a comb for Rin".Everytime he brought one , he got a smack in his head. This was finally the 105th combination of kimono and comb which was 'not rejected'. And Jacken was finally relieved!!!!
- Flashback ends-
Back to present, Rin was wearing the same kimono and sleeping.She had stopped tieing her little front hairs into a pony tail, she left her hair open and pretty bangs covered her forehead.The comb was kept somewhere else safe."Rin, wake up.", a beautiful silk husky voice said, the voice Rin loved the most in the whole world.
A gust of wind, Jacken turned around to greet him, Lord Sesshomaru was back, and Jacken was relieved that his watch over duty was over! Phew...
Suddenly Jacken was afraid as he saw something which he never thought he would witness again!! A look of panic in Sesshomaru's face. Again Sesshomaru regained his usual poker face, where no one would know what is going in his mind. He was looking at Rin and told Jacken that they were going to Inuyasha's village again.
Inside Sesshomaru's mind 'Something is wrong, Rin's heart rate is abnormal, and she is in a deep slumber with her aura changing.........This is just like those northern sorceresses which were mentioned in our imperial history records.'
