Color Blind

We live in a world with no color. It's as boring as it sounds. I don't know how it got to be this way, but one thing I do know is that whoever made our world like this, they forgot a few minor details.

My name is Amaris, I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, and like I said, our world has no color. It's pretty orderly, but really repetitive. Every morning when we wake up, it's the same thing: go to the bathroom, walk to the kitchen, have breakfast, go to school, learn the exact same thing we did the day before, go home, have dinner, sleep.
The one who runs it all, you may ask? This bitch named Anthony Catrina. He's basically our "lord and savior", although I don't know what he saved us from. He's one of the few people who isn't color blind, aka, the minor detail the creator of this world forgot to fix. These people can "see" the colors. As soon as everyone found out there were people like him, there was definitely shock, but he remained our "president", and everyone else like him was locked up and shipped away to who knows where. I'm one of those people, people who see the world with life, along with my best friend, Pandora.

And that's basically it. Our boring, repetitive lives. Sometimes, I lay awake at night, thinking what more there is out there, not just a day on loop forever, and ever.
