You woke in the hotel you were staying at. It was small and in Chicago. No one would look for you here. Sadly you didn't have time to pack so you only had what was left in your car. (Damon had driven it back). But most importantly Chicago had plenty of clothing shops and no one knew about vampires or vervain so you could compel the whole store without the trouble of onlookers. Not having humanity was great, especially in the windy city. You did this once in like the 1920s but it really wasn't that fun you were with Kol who had a tendency to get on your nerves. You got out of bed and grabbed your phone. The only question was what store would you be going to. Klaus Stefan and Damon had called along with a surprising Caroline forbes. Oh well you might as well just get a new phone altogether. The decor of the hotel room was plain but it had a general light blue theme. As much as you had wanted to plan where to go it really didn't matter and you decided to just walk around the city. You got into a small shop after walking around and getting coffee. You looked at the straight clothing racks to spot a cute shirt.

This was only one of your 20 shirts along with pants. You were going to check out when you smelled blood one of the girls in the shop had cut herself on the metal rack. You went to the girl and she had a look of panic on her face. Must've been your speed or something. "Don't scream but feel free to run sweetie" you said compelling her. Of course she ran stupid girl. She ran to the back room and you followed her until she trapped herself in a corner. You bit into her neck tasting the fresh blood. You ate until her head came off falling from your teeth. "Oh but she tasted so good" you said quietly to yourself. Ugh now there was blood all over your mouth. "And who's to say she hasn't gone rogue too Damon?" Klaus said. They were outside somewhere not yet realizing you were near them. Why did they come to Chicago and what did they mean by multiple people going rogue? Oh well you would go out the back. Once you left the shop you went back to the hotel. Surprisingly there were only 3 bags of clothes. Now what to do next you could go to the bar you walked past earlier. Yet again there was a better one downtown. So downtown it is besides you could use alcohol. Your phone vibrated. You looked down to see Damon had texted you. 'we found a dead girl in Chicago her head was torn off her body also very bad hiding the evidence. Anywho we know you were here we are just trying to help" so much for leaving seems like Mystic Falls just came to you. "You know I've been running for my whole life wanna come with me?"a certain Petrova doppelganger said. You looked up to see not one but two of the doppelganger's. "So they were talking about Miss. Gilbert" you said. "Yes or no?" Elena said demandingly. She dyed a strand of her hair red making it pretty obvious which doppelganger she was. "Why not," you said back. Just then the door to the hotel room opened revealing no one other than Klaus Rebekah and Damon. You looked towards the doppelganger's then towards the window. "In case you didn't get the memo we don't want to be disturbed" you said. Elena and Katherine jumped it was now your turn it seemed. "Grace don't do this" Damon said. "You don't get it Damon this isn't for you this is for me" you said. You jumped out the window and followed Katherine and Elena's scent. A couple days later: You were sitting on the stairs of an old warehouse with a dead girl Katherine and Elena were chasing the ones who ran. "Elizabeth come here darling" you said to a blonde human. She walked closer to you with tears in her eyes. Once she got to the top of the stairs where you were, you sunk your teeth into her neck and she screamed. No one was around this dusty place anyways so the screaming didn't matter. This time her head didn't pop off before you pulled away. Her body fell down the stairs with a thump. "You know it's not nice to kill people," Damon said. You looked up to see your ridiculous brother standing at the entrance of the warehouse. You rolled your eyes at him. "Damon, I told you to stop looking for us" you said. Damon kicked the girls head at the bottom of the stairs. There were also several other bodies nearby. "Well Stefan's girlfriend also so happens to be with you and she also doesn't have self control. To make it better shes with manipulative number 1" Damon said. They knew where Elena was this whole time in fact they had probably already gotten to Elena and Katherine that's why they're not back. "Where are the doppelganger's Damon?" You said. Damon sat down next to you. "She's with Stefan and Katherine should be with one of the Mikaelsons. But of course curiosity killed the cat" Damon said. "I think I'll be leaving now," you said to Damon. You started to get up but we're stopped by vervain being stabbed into your skin. Although you had just eaten or drank human blood the effects of this vervain were stronger than your bodies will to survive. You fell into Damon's arms. "Mean and I thought Katherine hadn't worn off on you" you said wearily. Trying to get on his nerves was harder than you thought. Your memory was hazy as you didn't remember much after that.
