WHY DO I LIKE HIM?? {Killua x(any gender)reader}

Two: Adventures before the exam

I thanked the Captain for his advice and started walking in the direction of the large tree. I grabbed a bag of chips from my bag and started munching. My gas mass under my chin.

I just kept walking, keep moving forwards.

I was now walking down what looked like a town. Until, a float- well, I don't know what It was. There was an old lady sitting in the middle of the cart. And people in the back with masks on, one was even holding a crow.

"I'm going to have you answer a question before you continue to the large tree." She said before continuing, "you can only pick answer 1 or 2 any other saying will be wrong."

You nodded in response, re-adjusting your mask onto your face covering your mouth

"Your in a hotel and it gets jacked, your sister is in another room all the way to the left side of the hallway and your brothers in a room all the way to the right side of the hallway. You can only save one of them, the other will be killed. 1 for your sister, 2 for your brother." She said holding up two fingers.

"You have 5 seconds to answer." Then she started counting up to 5.

You didn't know how to react, this was such a terrible question. But you looked over the rules again.

'Brother, sister? Who do save?' You put your finger to your mask where your chin is located. 'Maybe fight the high jacker , but she said all other answers are wrong.. AAH DAMN IT IM GOING TO FAIL--'

"times up." She said putting her hands together. "You passed"

"Huh?" You look at her, "how? I didn't even say anything.." you look back down fiddling with your fingers.

"Exactly, you had to chose between 1 or 2 but any other saying would be wrong. So you stay silent." she said smiling lightly, "so, you passed."

That wasn't going to be your response. But you took it anyways.

"Walk down this pathways, in about 2 hours you'll arrive at a cabin where a small husband and wife live. You can just walk in. No need to knock." A gate opened and you quickly stepped into the darkness. You passed. You were glad.

You felt like you've been walking for 5hours.. you legs were tired but you could still move.

"Tsk, 2 hours yea right, that old hag is sure gonna pay for this when I get my hunter license.." you snickered.

One thing that is making you uneasy was the signs everywhere. Say shit like, 'magical beast be aware'

You fount a tree with decent branches and pulled a branch off thinking of using it as a spear. You started sharping it with a rock you fount laying by the tree for protection.

You attached the glasses that connects to the mask.

You pressed a button on your mask allowing you to see in the dark better, seeing as the sun is setting. You finally reached the cabin 20 minutes later.

You walk straight in, like the lady said: there's no need to knock.

I saw a lady with pink hair being stepped on by a magical beast, a Kiriko. And I saw a man with blue hair on the ground with wounds. I dropped my stuff a ran to the man.

"Sir, sir stay with me." I said holding the man in my arms, "everything gonna be okay. I have some bandages--"

"No-- go save my wife.." he pointed out the window. DAMN IT. SHES WAS GONE AND SO WAS THE KIRIKO.

I ran and grabbed some cloth from some of the rooms and rapidly wrapped it around man hoping the bleeding would stop.

"I'm so sorry, I'll bring your wife here I promise. Your wife will come back even if I die. Just-- just hold on. Your wife needs you too" You said before jumping out the window. Still feeling guilty about leaving the man there.

Jumping through trees you here crashing. You immediately run towards the sound. Clenching your new made spear.

Your hunting finally paid off. You saw some fur, you didn't waste anytime to throw you spear. Hitting the target perfectly. The Kiriko fell to the ground with a loud crash made by the bushes who broke its fall.

You grabbed the lady and took a look at the magical beast. And back at the lady. Somehow I felt like I did something wrong. I went and tasted the blood of the Kiriko then some of the lady's. It tasted the same, they have to same blood in their vains. I used to taste blood to see if the fish or meat from the market has Gone bad. It was pretty helpful.

'Shit' you placed the lady beside a tree and went to bandage up the Kiriko with some leaves and vine because you left your bag at the cabin.

"I'm sorry" you say, " I didn't recognize you at first, " You look down.

"I'm so sorry, I'm sorry I'm so sorry. y/n you dumb fuck." You kept mumbling.

"No need to be sorry, this is what we are looking for. You are a really good fighter. But," they paused, " You never fount out that my son and daughter weren't married and you left an injured man alone."

"No Mom, they did what they could and reassured me that I will get my wife back and that I should keep holding on for my wife's sake too, I say they should pass." He looked my direction and at me with kind eyes, "I know your going to be a very good hunter. Y/n l/n You pass." He smiled.

"I will show you to your destination, the exam site."

I grabbed onto the sons ankles and flew across the night sky. It was nice. Peaceful almost.

He then showed me to a little rundown restaurant and ordered a delicious steak combo,

"Sooo, when are we eating sir?" You asked taking off the top piece of your mask, the glasses.

He laughed a little, "No, No, that was the passcode haha--" he stoped and took a breath. you had to say it you felt kinda embarrassed...

"Only 3% of 100 make it this far, be proud of yourself. I hope you pass. if you don't I hope to see you again next year." He left and closed the door. I felt the room go down.

And the doors opened. This is where I begin my journey.
