I want to also make it clear that though this is a story based on teenage Muslims — this story IS A TEENAGE LOVE STORY. What this means is : my characters are fictional Muslims who make mistakes. They are not perfect and are not designed to be perfect. They sometimes may not follow all of the rules of Islam, but that does not mean you get to shame me for making this story.
Also want to point out that they are also CONSENTING to the marriage and to any sexual relations they engage in with each other unless stated otherwise.
This story uses aspects of the Islamic religion (because I myself am a married, practicing Muslim woman), but it is not supposed to be viewed as a guideline for Islam.
