after bringing every box inside Drista was still not there, and her mom was still at work so it was just me and Clay. We sat down at the kitchen counter and Clay grabbed me a soda and asked, "so hows college going?" "meh," I replied, "I've been taking this coding class because I thought it would be cool and well it is but it makes no sense." He smiled and said, "well I happen to be amazing at coding, so if you need any help I'm the guy to ask." We finished up our sodas and conversation and then I decided to go lay down.
I went up to the guest room and grabbed my box of clothes. I threw on a pair of sweats and a tank top while I looked for a sweater. I looked through every box before realizing we must have left it at the apartment, so I went over to Clay's room and asked him, "I hate to ask this but do you have a sweater I could borrow for tonight I forgot mine at the apartment." He smiled and pulled off the sweater he was wearing and gave it to me. Holy shit it still smells like him. "Thanks"
I walked back to my room wrapped in his extremely oversized sweater. I laid down and scrolled through my phone and eventually fell asleep even though it was 4 pm.
I woke up the next morning to Drista downstairs making coffee and her mom already left for work again. I stretched and walked downstairs where Drista looked like she wanted to die. she said, "so fun news, we still have to be out of the apartment by the tenth and also moms friend has to stay here so we have no where to sleep." I pu ton a fake smile and said, "great"
Just then Clay came downstairs and said, "Just sleep on the couch dumbass." Drista was not ammused, "Y/n can't she has the back of an old lady." Clay looked at me and said, "Well Drista sleep on the couch y/n sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the floor easy." We all agreed and made plans for me and Clay to finish packing the apartment while Drista cleaned up the guest room.
