Chapter 3 ~ The first evening

Remus Pov

When we all sat at the table we all properly introduced ourself. "Hello first years! I'm Mykaela Vesper! I'm prefect!" an older student said. "So, i'm gonna show you around and show you Gryffindor's common room and show you to your dorms!" she said.

When we all had eaten the meal, Mykaela showed us around Hogwarts and to the Gryffindor common room.

"Sirius!" someone shouted behind us. Sirius froze. We all turned around. "Yeah.." Sirius swallowed. "We need to talk to you," they said. "We-" Sirius started. "Boys! We gotta go!" Mykaela said. One of the two girls Sirius was talking to huffed.

We followed Mykaela, ignoring the girls. "Who was that?" James asked. "My cousins.. Bellatrix and Narcissa Black..." Sirius explained. "C'mon! C'mon!" Mykaela said, pushing us lightly.

"Here! Here's the Gryffindor common room!" she said and showed us a portrait of a lady. "This is the fat lady! To get into the common room you have to say the password. It's: Rafflesia," she explained.

She turned to the fat lady, "Rafflesia!" she said. The portrait swung open. She walked in and showed us the Gryffindor common room.

"They're in Slytherin right? I'm sorry if i'm rude.." James said. "Yeah.. I'm the only Gryffindor in the family..." Sirius said. "I'm sorry.." James mumbled as he patted Sirius's shoulder. "It's okay.." he muttered.

Suddenly McGongall walked in. "Mr. Lupin," she said. "Yes?" i said, quite nervous. The guys looked at me confused. "Can i talk to you?" he asked. "Yeah.. I- I guess.." i stuttered.

"Don't worry guys, i'll find you later!" i said to the others. "Okay," James said. "See you," Sirius said as they all walked after Mykaela.

I followed McGonagall out of the common room and she showed me to her office. She told me to sit down in a chair and she sat down opposite me.

"Well.." she said. "What is it professor? Is something wrong?" i asked. "No Remus. Well this sunday.. I think. Next full moon is.." she said. "Yeah.." i said, looking down at the ground. I hated being reminded of my 'condition' like my parents always say.. "What about it?" i asked, now kinda irritated about her reminding me. "We have a place for you to transform," she said. "Where?" i asked. "I'll show you after classes tomorrow. Meet me in the common room at 8 pm," she said. "Yes professor," i said. "Well, off you go," she said and nodded towards the door.

I stood up and said goodbye, walked out the door and it felt like i was having a heart attack when someone stood there. "SHIT! You're scaring me!" i yelled. "I'm sorry, i just wanted you to find our dorm!" James said. I rolled my eyes. "Well," i laughed.

We walked into the common room and up the stairs and into the boys dorm room.

"Here you are!" Sirius said and almost jumped on us. "What did McGonagall sayyy?" he asked. "None of your business," i said, still irritated by McGonagall reminding me of the full moon.

I walked over and sat down on what i suppose is my bed, since my trunk was on it, and lifted up my trunk in my lap and opened it up. "COME ONNN REMMMMMMM!!! WHAT DID MINNIE SAYYY???" Sirius whined as he sat down beside me. "Minnie?" James laughed. "Yeah, Minnie, Minerva McGonagall, Minnie! Right?" Sirius laughed. "Just call her Professor McGonagall.." i boy from the far end of the corner said.

All our heads snapped to the corner. "Kingsley Shacklebolt," the boy said. "We're sharing a dorm," he said with his calming voice.

"Anywaysss..." Sirius said. "I'm gonna die when my parents get to know i'm a Gryffindor so.. Let's just live while i can," he laughed.

After a while we all had unpacked and we all just sat and talked, all sitting in our own bed. James' beside mine. Sirius on the other side. Peter beside him and Kingsley beside Peter and James. Kingsley wasn't really talking, he read.

"Oh my god..." Kingsley said under his breath and stood up. Without another word he left the room.

Why can't they just stop talking? Is it gonna be like this all the time? I can't stand it... "Oh my god..." i said under my breath as i put away my book and stood up.

Without a word i walked out of the room heading towards McGonagall's office.

I knocked on the door to McGonagall's office. "Come in!" she shouted.

I walked in. "Oh, mr. Shackerbolt.." she said. "I can't live with them!" i said. "What?" she asked. "Sirius, Remus, James and Peter. I can't share a dorm with them!" i said, kinda irritated. "Mr. Shackerbolt.. It's been not even a day! Try to share with them tonight and we'll see tomorrow!" McGonagall said. "I'm not gonna change my mind," i said. "Well, maybe you do," McGonagall said. "Well, of to bed,"
