Chapter 2

Staring at the letter that now sat in my lap. My mind wandered about and questioned everything about the letter. Of all people in the world, he was one that slipped her mind, I didn't realize he was eligible for this law but I guess things don't alway appear so they are. Will he even want me? The Insufferable know-it-all. Let's see how this goes.
Finally getting the courage to get out of my room and to check up on Professor Snape.  Walking to his door and knocking "Sir can I come in" waited a bit before  the was a answer "enter" he said. Slowly opening the door, saw that he was still sitting on the edge of the bed and in his hand was the letter from the ministry. We spent a long time staring at each other before one of us finally got the nerve to actually speak.  "Miss Granger..umm" Snape spoke. I interrupted him"sir please call me Hermione I'm not you student anymore"
"Fine Hermione , I suppose you can call me Severus, now I see we are match in this law and I guess I could have done worse but with everything that you have told me and with what the letter said I am willing to try to make this work ok. Just give me a little more time to understand everything"
"Ok Severus that is why I came in here it was to talk to you about this law and I am glad your ok with this. I want to make this work. I really think we will do well together. Please you can ask me anything or tell me anything. I will be here." I hope he doesn't realize how happy this makes me. I've had dreams and fantasies about him since school.
"Thanks Hermione. There is quite a bit of things I need to tell you before we get married but some of the things I need to say might be hard for you to understand "
"Severus I want to know and know I will never judge you. Understand everything is the past and I know there are thing you had to do in order to live."
"Thanks" looking up at Hermione who was still standing in the doorway.
"Would you like to get out of  the room and explore my place. Help yourself to whatever" telling him before I walked out and went to my library and grab the book was sitting on the couch. Minutes later Severus walked in and start browsing the books before he grabbed one and came to sit next to me on the couch.
