(Josuke's point of view)
Today, it was the third day of high school. The Angelo issue still troubled me... But with a bit help from Y/n's company these days, I did feel a little better. I finally learned to live with the fact that grandpa lost his life. My mom also started to recover from the loss of her father. She started to be sassy again, which was a good sign.
I met Koichi on my way and he quickly joined me. "Good morning, Josuke. Did the enemy attack yet or is he still hiding?" He asked and I sighed. "He still is hiding. But it should be alright if we avoid drinking water from our homes." I told him and he nodded. "Did you also inform Y/n?" He asked and I again nodded. "Yes, I have told her. I'm sure she's fine as long as she listens to me and avoids the enemy." I answered and he smiled. "That's good to hear. She shouldn't be involved with that issue." He said and I nodded, smiling. "I think so too."
Finally, we arrived at school and I quickly got noticed by classmates or even schoolmates who greeted me and asked how I felt. "Josukeee do you feel better about your loss?" "I have made you some breakfast for today!" "I will for tomorrow!" "I will for the day after tomorrow!" Some girls approached me and hugged my arms, which got me really nervous. "That's kind of you, I appreciate your effort. I am fine now and I also already had breakfast, so sorry..." I explained and they happily smiled. "Then let's escort you to the class, Josukeee~" They suggested and I helplessly glanced to the side, mouthing a quick "help" to Koichi, who just stood there, unable to do anything...
I eventually accepted my fate and let my classmates escort me to class, Koichi following us from behind. We soon entered our classroom and both me and Koichi looked for Y/n, only to notice that she wasn't there. The lesson almost started so it was unusual for her to not be there. Might she have gotten sick? I really hope that nothing happened.
The teacher soon entered and the girls left me, sitting down on their seats. I sighed in relief and joined Koichi, who already sat down. "Y/n seems to be sick. No one saw her today." Koichi told me and I nodded. "That would be the best-case scenario. The stand user could also be the reason why she isn't here, which would be worse." I answered and Koichi's eyes saddened. "I hope she's ok."
(Your point of view, a day ago)
You smiled as you got out of the bus and walked to your home. You looked up to the huge villa in front of you and took a deep breath. Your smile faded away immediately at the sight of this cursed place. No, you shouldn't give in this easily. You just had a good day...It can't get ruined this easily.
You closed your eyes and entered the code of the door lock of your family's house. It was very modern and extravagant. Which made you feel very uncomfortable... You liked your cozy small room because it was the only place for you to be at peace.
"Ohhh look who's back home, Hello Y/n my sister~" Your adoptive sister greeted you with a sinister smile and you felt your chest tightened from discomfort. You didn't meet her eyes and mumbled a quick "hello" before walking towards your room.
But as you tried so, she stopped by blocking your way with crossed arms and a smirk. "Did you enjoy your school day?" She asked and you didn't answer. You looked down to the ground and clenched your jaw. "I heard that you've found friends in this high school, Y/n my dear." She said and you didn't say anything. "And I don't like that at all. I have told mother about this...and she's not pleased to hear about that either." She told you and you looked up, with widened eyes. You were perfectly aware of where she was going to...
"Seems like you've understood." She concluded and smirked. "And this is what I want to see. Despair." You felt your heart break. You knew that they wouldn't allow you to have friends... "You will be homeschooled from now on, just like the rest of us. We thought that you won't deserve to be homeschooled like us... But because you seem to only study in your free time, why not stay at home instead of attending an official school? That's much more efficient, isn't it??" She asked and you gulped. This was your first time actually having a decent time in school. You enjoyed the presence of Josuke and Koichi and your best friend Okuyasu. And now they took this luxury of good time away from you.
