Chapter Seven

"I hate the smell of cigarettes." I said to Isaiah when we're already inside his car.

He brought me to the parking lot while still carrying me on his shoulder. Binaba nya lang ako nang nasa harap na kami ng Mercedes-Benz nya. One of his underlings is already there waiting for us, then the guy opened the backseat door for me.

Pagkasakay ko ng kotse nya, sumunod na rin ang lalaking nagbukas ng pinto para sa akin, he took a seat on the shotgun, while another guy is gonna drive for us. Wala nang ibang upuan kaya sa tabi ko naupo si Isaiah, and yeah, we left the bar like that.

He's about to light up a stick of an expensive cigarette on his mouth so I shoot dagger at him. Nakipagtitigan pa muna sya sa akin ng ilang segundo bago nya tinanggal ang sigarilyo sa bibig nya at binalik ito sa box. Inirapan ko sya bago ako tumingin ulit sa labas ng bintana. Narinig ko pa ang mahina nyang pagtawa.

Alam ko na kung saan kami papunta kaya hindi na ako nagtanong pa. Tumawag din si Vale sakanya kaya tahimik lang ako.

"Alright, Vale. You take care of that woman..."

Tinitigan ko ulit sya nang masama dahil sinabihan nyang 'that woman' si miss Kathy.

"What?" Isaiah unaffectedly asked.

"What happened to miss Kathy?" Matapang kong tanong.

"Vale took her to a hotel...and don't worry he's going to follow us later on. Sinabihan na nya ang mga hotel staff na alagaan ang manager mo."

"I'm sure Vale won't do anything to her." Bulong ko na narinig nya pala.

"How sure are you? Vale is not that gentleman as you think he is."

"Bakit sarili mong secretary sinisiraan mo sa akin?"

"I'm not. I'm just telling the truth, miss Ortega."

"Shut up, Gambino..." I groaned. "I want to take a shower."

Nag-retouch at nagpalit lang ako ng damit kanina, wala na akong chance maligo dahil minamadali na kami ni sir Harold. Now I'm feeling kinda sticky.

"Are you upset because I take you away from Andreas?"

I aggressively looked at him. "What? Of course not."

My lips parted when I saw him smirk. "Mukhang hindi ka na natatakot sa akin, huh? You're very confident to talk back to me now..."

I felt a sudden shivers on how cold his tone is. I almost forgot that he's a mafia boss...He can kill me anytime he wants. Nang makaramdam nang kaba ay nanahimik nalang ulit ako.

"Are you in a relationship with my secretary now?"

"Huh!?" Napakunot ang noo ko dahil sa bigla nyang tanong.

Nasa hotel nya na kami, at sa parehong kwarto parin kung saan nya ako dinala dati. He's seating at the sofa with his arms spread at the back of the seat. He definitely look like a boss like that. I'm just standing while glaring at him.

"May ilalabas sanang panibagong dating issue tungkol sayo...A paparazzi saw you at the parking lot when Vale is about to take you home and they took a photo."
