CHAPTER ONE

Location: Hernández's Backup Mansion
Where: Milan, Italy

The Hernández Family is back from their new year trip in Bali. Everyone is excited to be back home, to be in the action again. But one person isn't so happy.

Valentina Maria Hernández; the heir.

She wants to go back to Bali, to the peaceful air because once she steps foot out of the car she will be back in danger.
She will have to deal with the criticism that comes with being the first female mafia heir. All the judging looks and all the guys thinking that if they get with her they will be able to rule the mafia. But no she proves them wrong everytime. But sadly it was time to come back to reality.

"Honey, we are home" her mother, said with a soft tone. Valentina opens her eyes and sighed. She gathers the courage to open the door and soon as she does her face change. The sweet smile she had on when in the car changed to cold but sexy glare. She walks up the stairs of the mansion and opens the door.

Everyone bows to her family and her but she didn't care. Her cold gaze was focused on the pathway to her private room. Where she can finally rest from the tiring place ride.

Valentina reaches her room in a matter of time. Soon as she stepped into her room she let go of her bags and jumped on her bed. She fell asleep letting the exhaustion take over. Not know what her life will become.

Location:  Le Segùgio (Bloodhound) Mansion
Where: Milan, Italy

On the other side of Milan lives the Romano Family. Known as the mafia with the most vicious kills. It is said that the bodies they torture and kill looks chewed up by dogs. That's why they are called the bloodhounds; they are vicious for blood.

Meanwhile in the mansion, everyone is working. Whether it was a drug deal or kill. But the heir of Le Segùgio Mafia; Vincenzo Salvatore Romano was in his office dealing with paper work. No he isn't the leader yet, but his papa wants him to learn everything a mafia leader does. Vincenzo is an heartless man, all because of her.

"Son we need to talk" his father said, with a serious tone. Vince sighed and looked up at his father.
"about what dad" he asked. Generally curious was important enough to interrupt what his dad calls "paper drug deals".
"It's about the ball" his dad said with a playful look on his face.
Vince looked at his dad annoyed.
"A ball dad, a mother fucking ball" he said with his voice getting louder.
"Watch your mouth boy, and yes a ball. The annual mafia ball" his mother said while walking in with annoyance and excitement in her voice.
"What about it" he said in a calm voice since his mother was there.

Cause lord did he not want to get in his mother's bad side.
"We are going plus El Sangre Roja mafia will be there" she said with a smirk.

You see El Sangre Roja is their enemy well more like Vince is enemies with their heir. Both parents get along just fine. Actually the war ended in 1995. But Valentina and Vincenzo never got along. They hated each other since they could remember.
Both parents are committed to the idea that Vince and Val likes each other. Like that's the reason they try to kill each other at every moment they get.

"Mama I don't want to associate myself with that cagna" he said with an angry look on his face remembering Valentina's face. He felt a painful sensation on the back of his head.
"She isn't a cagna child, maybe if you try to get along with her then you will realize" she said with an angry tone. His mother had hit him.
"Okay ma" he said after sighing. Knowing you will never win a point against Francesca Romano.

"Well son, your mother and I have to go get our outfits for the ball" his father, the Matteo Romano said while slowly closing the door. Vincenzo moved his head downward automatically and continued working.

I don't wanna see that cagna.
