Millenia ago, an eternal was born, he was named Nyxius and as a he grew up, he became one of the strongest eternals in the military. It is during his time in the military where Nyxius met his first love, Thena, another powerful eternal and the two would get married. Nyxius and Thena were known to be ruthless in the heat of battle, killing any deviant they came across no matter what. Tragedy would occur when thena gave birth to their first son, Nemious, a baby who was born with the cursed deviant gene which gave him the appearance of a deviant. Knowing what Thena would do to the baby, Nyxius begged the celestials for the chance to save his son not only from his mother but also other eternals. Due to his loyalty to them, the celestial conjured a plan in which Nyxius was able to save his infant son. Nyxius was sent to another dimension, one where heroes like superman, batman, and green lantern existed. Nyxius and Nemious arrived in the early years of humanity and with their Immortality, lived along side humanity influencing it's advancement much like eternals did in his dimension.
Nyxius who usually went by the name Cole Evermore while on earth, possessed the appearance of a muscular man usally in his mid 30s. Nyxius's eyes were a bright gold color and he wore black and white celestial armor, as the years went on, his armor adapted with the times. To conceal his identity, Nyxius changed his form into that of a Old Man in his 50s who wore a pair of glasses and changed his eye color to an average brown. While raising and teaching his son, Nemious on earth, Nyxius would adopt and teach about 10 children through out the ages.
