Nyxius Abilities

Since he was young, Nyxius has always been a great fighter, beating most of his fellow eternals in fights from the age of 12. When going the military, his natural ability was on full display as he impressed his superiors with his ways of taking down deviants. But not only was he a great hand to hand fighter, but also a great weapon user. He was well known for his excellent form when using a sword but what he was most known for was his use of a scythe. He would often charge into battle using a long scythe and decapitate his enemies, this along with his black and white celestial armor gave his the nickname, Reaper on the battlefield. But the thing people feared the most about him was his natural born power to manipulate the darkness and shadows to his advantages. It is said that those unfortunate enough to fall victim to his traps will have the worst nightmares brought to life IN front of them but made 100 times worse. By the time he was 2,000 years old, his name was known and feared by not only his enemies but also his fellow eternals. Nyxius achieved the rank of commander in the military for his service and tactical mind. Only one person ever rivaled him and that was the warrior queen herself, Thena.

Nyxius would wear a form fitting celestial armor that was custom made for him by phestus. The armor was colored black and white and it also had many symbols carved into it. The symbols themselves were characters from the language of the celestial, when translated the symbols would roughly say "To honor my creators, those who dare bring them harm will face my wrath, So says I, there Eternal Champion". In the heat of battle, the symbol would often glow bright and along with the dark black in his armor, it would create a comic effect where from far away, it looked like he was wearing armor covered in stars. Nyxius took great pride in his armor and would do his best to keep it undamaged although it often would even with his best efforts.

After the day they wed, Thena would gift nyxius a dark silver hover cycle, made with the finest technology found on their world. The Cycle was armed with weapons that were built into the cycle and could be activated at a moments notice. The cycle also possessed the inate ability to change it's form to matter the time period or area it was located in which would help niyxous stay hidden throughout history. Nyxius originally planned to destroy the cycle after escaping to the other dimension but found that he couldn't due to the memories of thena he had with it. Although they were split over her son, the ship would always act as a symbol of their love just like their son who found great comfort whenever riding the cycle as it made him feeel some connection to his mother.
