Grave's POV

Not even five minutes after the guys left did people start appearing; each one of them hugged me, and called me Luna even though I wasn't fully mated to Ryan, or married. We all gathered in the kitchen, Kenzy on her mom's lap watching everyone converse.

I was pulling frozen pizzas out of the fridge when there was a knock on the door. all the conversation stopped and everyone looked to me. I have them all a serious look and walked to the front door and opened it. My heart racing, expecting the worst.

I relaxed the second I saw Lisa and another woman who looked exactly like her just older. "You guys scared me." I said with a sigh, letting them in.

Lisa hugged me quickly and joined the kitchen gossip. The older woman stood there, looking at me as I closed the door. I sighed, "Hi, you must be Ryan's mom, I'm Grace." I said sticking out my hand bravely. My hand stayed out there for two minuets till she finally just hugged me randomly. "You'll be a good Luna." She whispered into my ear, and then just left like nothing had happened.

I made sure the front door was locked and made my way to the kitchen once more. I checked the oven to make sure it was heated and then mindlessly began preparing the pizzas.

My thoughts traveled to Ryan, I cringed at the thought of him being....dead... They had been gone along time, it was worrying me. Because to be gone this long meant that either there was a lot of wolfs or they were experienced. Somewhere I heard a small high pitched scream coming from the front living room. I ran as fast as I can and spotted kenzt who was looking out the window. I scanned out the front lawn.

I caught sight of him, holding a blond little girl no older than four by the scruff of her neck. Tears ran down her small red cheeks, her bright blue eyes wide in fear. Without thinking I was out the door, removing his grip and handing her to one of the women who had rushed outside to back me up. I noted that everyone of the woman who were in the kitchen were outside, while the children were inside, looking out the windows with Lisa watching them a grim face on. I could smell the determination of the women to keep the children safe, and to back me up. I turned around slowly towards the man who had made my life hell, "Hello Father."

"Grace, I've been so worried." He said sarcastically, putting a hand up to his heart.
"I'm sure you were, your sweet punching doll ran away." I said, my eyes narrowing in hate.
He smiled evilly, "No matter, I've come to take her back. Come Grace." He said as if I would just leave with him. His eye's turned black when I didn't obey, "Grace come." He called to me like a dog.
"NO!" I roared, crouching down in a fighting stance.
"Grace if you do not come I will take every one of these women and children's lives, slowly and painfully." He said, shaking with obvious anger. "You will touch NO ONE." I screamed at him. I turned my back to him, and looked straight into the eyes of Ryan's mother. "Take the women and children and run, now. Don't look back, and don't wait for me." I told her with my alpha voice, she just nodded her head and gathered everyone and went. I turned towards my father, the man that had abused me for eight years. He didn't even hesitate in punching me in the face, blood was already running down my face from my nose. I crouched down and growled at him, I lunged forwards with all my weight and punched him in the ribs, hearing a definite crack. He landed on the ground with a snarl, but was up again prowling around me. He shifted before I had a chance to comprehend, and bit me on the leg. I screamed out, and punched him in the mussel making him release me. I shifted, knowing full well that there was no turning back.

Ryan's POV

I was really reluctant to leave Grace at home, but I knew the women of the pack would take care of her. So I fled towards the fight, already getting all the details, it seemed that no one knew why we were attacked, just that they were extremely inexperienced, and large in numbers. The pack had already killed about half of them by the time I got there, so we finished off quickly, no more than an hour. I thought everything was finished when the women and children of the pack came flying from the woods all crying. I thought nothing of it, just worried about they're mates and sons, so I looked for Graces blond head through the bunch, but then soon realized that she wasn't with them. I turned towards my mom who had silent tears running down her face. I had ever seen her cry; I looked at her confused before she silently told me through our mind link what happened. I went numb with rage, and gathered a group and ran towards the house. I'm coming Grace.
