I heard beeping in my ear and felt something wrapped around my neck. I don't know how long I was out. I remembered what happened, the creature, Marshall, than nothing but darkness. I managed to open my eyes. The lights were bright, I tried sitting up but I got dizzy, I heard a moan at the side of the bed.

Marshall was sitting in a chair, holding my hand, my hand was wet like someone dipped it in water. I managed to say his name. His body started to shake as he looked up at me. His eyes red, tears rolling down his cheeks, a smile crosses his face. I smile back. More tears roll down his cheeks as he stands up and sits next to me in the hospital bed still holding my hand.

I sat up a little and hugged him. He didn't say anything. Finally around one he asked if I wanted anything to eat, I said no and asked what happened, because he looks different. Older.

He told me that after I was attacked the ambulance came and took me to the hospital. I needed surgery. In surgery I fell into a coma, and I've been in a coma for two years, exactly two years.

Marshall helped me up and we went into the bathroom, my hair was long, my necklace was gone. So I saw the real me and it comforted me. Marshall took off his necklace and put it around my neck. He always has an extra necklace in his pocket.

He looked down at his feet then to me. His eyes started to water. I could tell he was going to tell me something, but I didn't know if I wanted to know. He hugged me and told me he thought I was going to die, I started crying and so did he. A nurse knocked on the door and walked in and she saw I was no longer in the bed she looked towards the bathroom.

She smiled when she saw me, then she looked at Marshall and frowned and asked him if he has left my side since the day I was attacked. He looked down and shook his head no.

The nurse came over and helped me to my bed she got out a bottle of pills and handed me a pill and some water. I just realized I wasn't wearing sleeves and my arms are covered in scars now.

Marshall was looking at my arms, and the nurse saw them and covered me up with a blanket,  also covering my arms. She looked at me with worry and I just looked away. Not wanting to explain.
