Little Blue Bunny

It's dark and damp

My fur wrinkled and tattered

The old mint green gum still stuck to my tail

My aroma of smashed Cheerio crumbs

and the stench of week old milk stains people's impressions of me

Often causing them to toss me aside or turn the other cheek

I know I'm sticky and old but

I'm cold and tired dreaming of my nice warm bed back home

and the sun shining on my face as the swing flings us into space and then back to earth just in time for supper.
