Felix sat silently on the couch watching curiously as Chan reached into the bag that was sitting by his feet.The bag was small but very detailed with little gold swirls laying atop the red color.Felix watched as Chan had now set the bag in front of him and Chan looked back up at him and smiled his dimples showing.
"Here I want you to open this its a gift from me to you,there is also a note inside for you"Chan said nervously his voice more quite now.
Felix reached towards the bag digging his fingers waiting to find what was inside.Finally after moving the rustling paper Felix felt his fingers brush something.His sense instantly could tell it was a solid object and he clasped his finger s around it.He pulled the unknown object out the bag revealing a black silk box.
" Oh wow Chan hyung what is this did you really spend you money on this you didn't have to"Felix said looking a bit guilty.
Chan smiled and motioned for Felix too open the box patting it in his hand.
"Go on now lixie open it I really hope you like it " Chan said.
Felix smiled opening the velvet box.He slowly unwrapped the ribbon now opening the clasp. Felix gasped in shock at was inside and instantly felt his eyes water.
"Aww Chan you really didn't have to do this when did you have the time" Felix said pulling out the sapphire ring from the box.Felix loved rings and had many pairs but this one felt different. It was diamond encrusted ring with a white sapphire perched in the middle.Along the sides it had a moon and stars.

Chan watched with a smile as Felix put on the ring on his pointer finger having it fit perfectly along his much smaller hands.
"Thank you so much Chan I love it but why did you give this to me?" Felix asked after looking at the ring.Sure he was great ful and happy he received a gift but why was the reason.
Chan cleared his throat sitting up straight now holding the bag in his hand "Well Felix that ring I gave you is sorta a promise ring you don't have to take it romantically though.Its just a promise that we will always be friends no matter what even if we don't end up with each other.If you check behind the ring I had them specifically carve a message from me to you to look at whenever".
After hearing Chan say that Felix felt warm and happy inside.He felt safe and cared for something he felt on a different level.Felix slowly took off his rings that fit on his finger like a glove and turned to see the message. He felt his eyes tear up at what was written inside.

Chan was waiting for Felix's response till suddenly Felix jumped on him and engulfed him into a gigantic hug.Chan was surprised but immediately returned the hug.They had a few trials and errors but they were soulmate after all they were able to prevail in the end.No words was needed for the moment as they basked in each others presence finally at ease.Both of their souls now calm.
After a short while Felix let go of Chan pulling away from his neck.Chan laughed before turning to grab another bag.
"I had bought this stuff from the store after I got off the phone with my mom.I am surprised many places were open but I decided since you like to bake we should try it together" Chan said now smiling holding up multiple bags.
Felix smiled running to the kitchen pulling Chan along with him.Chan just laughed as he was being dragged knowing there was no escape.
"Hmm what should we bake today channie hyung we both have a day off"Felix said as he started taking the things out of the bag setting them onto the marble counter.Felix watched as Chan looked through his phone swiping through something.Felix looked over his shoulder seeing Chan was looking at recipes for them to make.
Felix smiled before walking to his cabinet humming a song as he pulled out two aprons.He always had a spare for emergencies now it looked like it was finally gonna be put to use.Felix smiled at all the possibilities of both of their creations.
"I found a recipe we should try its called Napoleon Cake"Chan said looking up from his phone eyes lit up in excitement.
" I can't wait"
