𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠

[this is a short story or maybe a scenario thing]

Amane has a crush on Aoi but is always afraid to tell her, they've been having small conversations after class ever since Nene introduced Amane to Aoi, Aoi thought he was really cute but didn't want to get close to him because she was always afraid that he wouldn't like her for how she really is or afraid of getting left alone. 

While they where in science class, the teacher assigned a stargazing activity and put Aoi, Amane and yashiro in a group together.

 The three stayed after school and went to the rooftop, some other students did too, there wasn't any teachers around there was mostly just students using some of the teachers telescopes to stargaze.

But, Amane brought his own including a notebook and even brought a star chart with him.

Aoi found it adorable how much he adored astronomy, at times she was trying not to smile as he went on and on about the moon, she found it really cute.

They all sat on the roof stargazing until the roof got kinda crowded, they decided to leave school and take the stargazing somewhere else, they eventually found an isolated place where it would be just the three of them.

Later, Yashiro had to leave and she apologized and left quickly for some reason.

So, it was just Amane and Aoi alone now.

It was actually pretty awkward, it was really quiet but then Amane lightened up the mood talking about the stars.

Aoi was actually really nervous herself, even if she had a crush on him she didn't exactly like being in this situation due to how awkward it is.

You had no idea how much Amane wanted to tell Aoi that he loved her, he's used to never telling anyone anything about himself but for some reason not telling her kept killing him inside.

Amane then ripped a paper out of his note book and started writing on it, he felt Aoi looking over to him to see what he was doing which made him more nervous and made him blush a bit.

He then stopped writing and started to shake

Aoi then asked him what was wrong

With his shaky hand, he gave the paper to Aoi and she started reading

And it said

Will you go out with me?

yes ❏ no ❏

She blushed a bit trying to hide what she felt, she then put the paper down without writing down anything.

Amane looked at her with a confused look, then he noticed that she started to tear up.

Amane asked if she was okay and she didn't respond, he was so interested in her and really wanted to find out why she was crying.

Aoi then started to get up to leave.

Then Amane grabbed her hand asking her to stay, he didn't want her to leave home crying, he was worried about her and actually knew the things she was going through, he's actually pretty observant and actually looked out for her when nobody else did, he understood everything she felt because he knows how it feels himself, they both have trouble showing their true emotions and true personality and he just wanted to help her the best he can even if he was going through the same thing, he actually relates to her a lot.

He eventually convinced her to stay then they both sat on the same spot they were in before.

Amane started to hold her hand while looking at her, then he said the words.

"I understand..."

She looked at him a bit confused

Then he started stating on how they both relate to each other

Aoi just stared at him, she has never met somebody who related to her, it felt a bit comforting to her in a way but another side of her didn't like how he found her out at all, she started to overthink on if he was hinting that he was leaving her or if that he hated her.

"just know i could never hate you, ive loved you and always will love you"

Amane then realized what he just said blushed a bit as he started to look away.

Aoi then picked up the paper that he gave to ask her out.

She then checked mark "yes" and tapped his shoulder.

He looked over to her and took the paper.

He saw that she checked marked "yes" and quickly looked over to her with a surprised look on his face.

"its getting really late, don't you think?" Aoi said then she started getting up putting away his telescope and notebooks in his backpack

"yeah.." amane said

As they both started walking home, amane stopped.

"Aoi, did you really mean what you said?"

Aoi then walked closer to him and kissed his cheek, after that she messed with his hair a bit.

"Of course!" She said with a smile.

Amane just stood there frozen, he blushed a lot and he was just thinking about what just happened.

Then he finally snapped out of it realizing Aoi was already walking far away.

"Aoi wait for me!!"

BONUS:

Yashiro actually left quickly because she knew they both liked eachother, she had been planning this from the start and immediately called Aoi when Aoi arrived home and kept asking her what happened, Aoi told her everything, Aoi finally felt like she could be herself after finding out the one she loved actually understood and related to her, she felt less alone.
