My ex, or my best friend!?

Anastasia's P.O.V

Oh my god I hated junior high school! Full of divas pretending to be something better than you! Boys who only care about football and how to make the people they don't like feel bad! And I wasn't exactly the most popular person! I suppose I was too kind for my own good... I couldn't think bad about anyone and then it was this girl....

Carla! She was the most revenge loving person I had ever seen! She would give away everybody's secrets and would probably become the school slut in a year or two as she had already made out with all the boys who were good-looking and it wasn't going to take long for her to go further than that!

This was the first day at school after the Christmas holidays. It was also my birthday! January's 10th!

As I walked by the hallways many people would say happy birthday to me! I may not be popular but I had every single person in this school on facebook so they knew it was my bday. I finally made it to my classroom and as I got inside I saw my friends.

Gina was in her seat getting her books out of her back. As she saw me she flashed me a smile and gave me a big hug.
"Happy birthday girl!" She said giving me a hard time breathing with that bonecrashing hug
"Thanks! God I missed school!" I said trying to get my breath back
"So is there anything new?" She asked
"Nah, not really!"  I replied and then I saw my friend Mike coming in.

I decided to go over there and see if he would remember my birthday!
"Heyy what are you up to?" I asked him impatiently.
"Nothing really! Anything new with you?"
"Definitely not! Even tho I don't know wether that is a good thing or not!" I replied to him.
"Don't be so negative!" He said smiling.

So he didn't remember...I couldn't help feeling a little bit disappointed with that but I thought it wouldn't matter that much to him.

"Oh and Anastasia.... " I froze "It's good to have you back! I missed you!" He said, a shy expression printed on his face!
"I missed you too Mike! All of you!" I answered giving him a grin.

When the bell rung I went outside to find my best friend who was on her first year of high school! I finally found her sitting with some of her friends!

"Hey Anastasia! I really missed you these days!" She complained.
"Well girl it is not only my fault! Where have you been?" I said with fake anger in my voice.
"Hey you know I was out making some friends! Blame my sociality for that!" She said grinning. She obviously knew I wasn't really mad at her. How could I? I loved that crazy person!

"Which reminds me, Anastasia these are my new friends! This is Nick, he is kind of a robotic genius! I m gonna have him to invent a shut up robot for you some day." She teased me winking!

"You are hilarious Jessica..." I said frowning and stared tickling her! Then I turned to nick saying hi and giving him a smile.

"Never tickle me again or I ll have Nick tickle you to death since you always seem to win me in tickle fights.... Anyway these are Lillian and Dasy!" She said obviously talking about the two brown haired girls standing near Nick.

"Hey I am Anastasia. Nice to meet you all guys! What have you been talking about?"

"Nothing really... just school!" Jessie said.

"Oh ok I guess I ll see you later! Bye."  I told them and went to my next lesson.

The rest of the day went by smoothly and when it was finally the time to leave school I saw Mike waiting outside the classroom for something. I started walking towards him and he looked at me smiling.

"Anastasia can I talk to you?" He said.

"Of course Mike what's wrong?"

"Nothing I just wanted to tell you happy birthday and give you this!" He said giving me a bracelet.

I took it from his hand and started examine it. It was a diacritic small bracelet that had a small heart on it.

"Wow thank you! It is wonderful!" I said hugging him tight.

"Anything for my best friend!" He said.

And then it hit me.

"Uhmm Mike I really have to go! I Forgot something important I was supposed to do! See you tomorrow!" I said walking away as fast as I could.

"See ya!"  I heard his voice somewhere behind me. But I had no more time to waste!

A/n: I want you to know this is a true story that happened to someone close to me! This is a long chapter but it just got me sentimental and I couldn't stop writing! It is one of the most breathtaking stories I have ever even imagined and I am srsly looking forward to take this all the way through till the end (even tho i dont really think any1 will read this story! xD)!
