My ex, or my best friend!?

A table for two! *4*

Nick was here and I was almost ready to go! The only thing missing was....

"Muuum have you seen my keys?" I said loud enough for her to hear.

"Yes honey they are on the kitchen table. Have fun!" She said as loud as I did.

"Thanks mum! Cya!"  I said before closing the door behind me only to find Nick waiting for me outside the front door.

"Hey Anastasia! Over here"

I smiled at him and started walking towards his car. When I got close enough he opened the door for me. I didn't know he was such a gentleman. But to be honest, I didn't exactly know him at all.

"Thank you!" I said as I walked inside the car and fastened my seatbelt.

"You are welcome!" He answered with a charming smile. Right after that he closed the door and got inside the car himself.

"So where are we going?" I asked, being too curious to wait.

"Now we wouldn't like to ruin the surprise would we?" Oh great... now my curiosity hit red.... it's not that I don't like surprises.... it's just that I can't stand just waiting for the surprise to be revealed. It's just that I am not the patient type of girl!

"Oh don't give me that look Anastasia! I know your opinion about surprises! Dimitra filled me in, don't worry. We ll be there shortly!" He said looking at the road while driving. Is it my idea or is he.... smirking? Oh ok... now I am more than curious as to what he has planned for tonight!

He kept on driving for some mire minutes and then he suddenly stoped the car. I looked around me. I could see nothing! Wow it is really starting to get dark early... Winters are nothing more than cold summers in the equatorial countries. Snow is something unknown here... i have personally seen snow twice in my whole life! And I loved it...

But right now I couldn't tell what all this is about! As far as I could tell we were outside the national park. I couldn't understand what was happening.

"Where are we going?" Ok now I was lost... what could he have planned?

"Wait and see!" And with that he got out of the car and he opened the door for me as well.

We started walking inside the park and when we have already been walking for some minutes he suddenly stoped.

"Anastasia, do you trust me?" He asked, seriousness obvious in his voice.

"Uhmm I guess! Why?" I asked with a puzzled look. Ok now this was getting weird. I was starting to feel a bit afraid.

"I want you to close your eyes. Don't worry I will just take your hand to show you the way. I know it's a lot to ask but it's part of the surprise!"  He was now looking at me with those big brown eyes of his."Pleeease?"

Oh hell....

"hmmm.... ok!" I said closing my eyes.

He then took my hand and we started walking.we didn't go far but I couldn't guess where I was the moment we stoped.

"Ok open your eyes."  He said in a sweet voice.

So did I. I opened my eyes and what I saw made me gasp. There in front of me was a table for two. It had a nice smooth-color tablecloth on it, two candles (one in every side of the table) and two plates! Wow, this guy knew how to make a first impression!

I moved towards one of the two sits and tried to pull my chair a bit back in order to sit but I never got the chance. Nick stoped me.

"Here, let me help you with that!" He softly said and pulled the chair for me

This guy was sweet, caring and seemed like a true gentleman. Maybe, just maybe, this would work after all!
