¶Chapter 1¶

"Class dismissed, I expect you all to turn in your assignment by the end of this week, okay?" Mrs Belle called out after the bell went off signaling the end of history class.

I would have waited on a normal day for everyone to leave before i do, but I decided to leave first today. Packing my bag I stood up and made my way to the door, but I don't think that went well with a certain person because she decided to speak.

"How the hell do you go about looking so pale and dull?" Melissa asked

Just hearing her squeaky voice I know that today will not go smoothly. Well you see, Melissa is known as the queen bee and most popular female student in school, her mother happens to be part of the school board of directors. According to rumors, her mom sponsors the school with a huge amount of money to run academic activities, so because of this, Melissa is given special treatment.

"I don't know how that should be any of your business Melissa Young" I answered her in the simplest way ever walking out of the class.

"You should know better that to answer me in that manner". She said following me out of class.

This girl doesn't seem to take on simple hint, why does she have to be a bitch all the time?, I am very sure those minions of hers don't tell her how much of an annoying attention seeking stupid asshole she is.

Then I heard it.
A Gasp
That can only mean one thing.
Did I say that out loud?

"Yes you did girl, am proud of you". And as if the day can not get worse than it is already, they had to be here.

When I say they, I mean my two best friends.
Anna Summers and Savannah Grey, we have been friends since birth,like peas in a pod. Back to the problem on ground, who invited this two Chipmunks?

"So guys, guess who just got burnt?" Anna asked using her pencil as a microphone and wearing a very happy face.

"I know, I know, I know" Sav shouted raising her hands up.

"Tell us beautiful".
"Melissa Young just got burnt". Sav said laughing her ass out.
"Ding, ding, ding, we have our winner" Anna said putting Sav's hand in the air.

I still don't know why am stuck with these two, they are so childish. And then it happened

"QUIETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT" That was so loud, but I expected it from her. Didn't you?

"Did you just speak to me in that manner you wretch?" She asked with shock written all over her face.

Am really getting tired of what is happening, so right now am going to be a peacemaker, you can join me if you know how to stop someone like her.

"Look Melissa, first of all, I didn't speak to you directly, what you heard were my sincere thoughts". These words that just came out from my mouth are certainly not the best words to use to settle this issue but.... " Secondly, I don't have time for all these drama you are putting on, so we are going to gently move away from this scene and pretend it didn't happen, okay?". I hope she understands.

"ALEXIS WALLS, you do not tell me what to do, okay?". She didn't understand. " You are going to pay for saying those mean things to me, I promise you". Her face looks really weird I wish you could see it.

"MELISSA YOUNG, you do not shout at her, okay?". Sav said to her with a stern look, which I know won't last 5mins. " You are gonna get your ass whipped like a little child, I promise you". I told you it won't last.

"Okay guys" Anna said jumping down from a table I have no idea where it came out from and how it got here. "SHOW IS OVER AND ALEXIS WALLS IS THE WINNER OF TODAY'S HALLWAY BRAWL" No sign of seriousness.

" You three are going to hear from me soon" She said trotting away from us.

"And you are going to get your ass whipped by me pretty soon". Sav said imitating her.

"Okay, that's enough. Let's go get lunch". I said pulling each of them by the hand and leading them to the cafeteria.

"Woah, woah, woah, hold on one second" Anna said jumping right in front of me.

"What?" I asked.

"You are certainly the best, sweetheart". She said with a silly smile on her face.

"She is indeed a sweetheart". Sav said.

"Your point exactly?" I asked again.

"You dealt with her very well and you deserve an award" Anna said hugg... no, squishing me.

"Can't breathe". I manage to say.

"Don't you think we should give a sweet name?" Sav asked.

"I think that is nice" Anna said with her finger hitting her nose, she does that whenever she is thinking.

"I think i've got something". Sav said smirking and that does not seem nice.

"What?" Anna asked.

"Sweet apple pie". She said.

"Really?". I asked. Sav ideas always come out bad.

"That is nice". And she certainly will support her.

"Your turn, Anna". Sav said.

"Beautiful Mac and Cheese". I accept the beautiful but not the Mac and cheese.

"Nana's strawberry cake"

"Mandy's Special Cupcake"

"I can tell the both of you are hungry, that is why you are spewing out names of food". I said to both of them.

"Lexi listen, you should actually smile that you being called sweet names not complaining". Anna replied me using her hands to stretch the sides of my mouth.

"Am beginning to wonder when you'd actually smile, you are always looking so serious. Loosen up baby girl". Sav said.

Well, I don't know what to say at this point other than to be quiet. Nevertheless they continued their food name calling.

"My lovely pizza with pineapple toppings".

"My Thanksgiving turkey".

"My best Spaghetti". That happens to be Sav's best food.

This special name calling continued until.....

This chapter gave me a hard time. It kept wiping off and I had to start over again every single time it happened, but I bet you are gonna enjoy.
