My eyes shot open like darts as I quickly rose up. The first thing I saw was my parents their eyes were puffy and red with tears streaming down their face. They lit up when they saw me and rushed to my bed side. “What happened?” I said rubbing my head. “It’s kind of hard to explain.” My mom said kinda nerves. “Could you at least start with what you’re wearing” I asked with a slight chuckle. “Your mom and I our assassins.” My dad said with a solid face. “You’re serious?” I asked laughing, the more serious they looked at me the more the more I realized they were telling the truth. “You really are serious you guys are assassins, so does that mean that Ashton’s dad is an assassin too?” I asked “No, he’s actually a superhero.” my dad said with a side grin. “So how’s Ashton doing?” I asked “We don’t know he’s in the next room if you wanna go see?” My mom asked as I nodded in agreement. I slipped out of bed still in my clothes from when I got kidnapped. My body felt so soar that it basally hurt to walk but I could manage a walk next door. Once I walked in I saw Ashton’s dad at the side of the bed and Ashton was wide awake and talking a mile a minute. I guess somethings never change unless you just found out that your parents are assassins.

“Hey” Ashton said with a wide grin. Ashton’s dad looked at me the way my parents looked at me when I woke up red eyed and puffy. “I’ll leave you two alone’’ His dad said as he left the room.

“Did he tell you” I asked him

“Yeah, what do you think about it?”

 “Different.”

“Do you think…?”

“That they will make us like them? Yeah I do”
