~Her POV

She was dismissed from the meeting, but before she left she tapped on Thor's shoulder, titled her head towards the door indicating she wanted Thor to follow her. Thor did just that, and outside the meeting room they began to talk.

"Okay, I'm not really mad at Loki." She said. "Oh thank god." Thor said with relief. "Then what's really going on?" He asked. "I have a surprise for Loki, and I need your help to pull it off. I figured you love surprises because of that little stunt you and your brother pulled on me at the ball." She said. "Yeah I remember that." Thor said proudly. "What do you need me to do?" Thor asked.

"I need you to collect as many green flowers as you can, real or fake doesn't matter, but make sure they are green. After you do that, take the flowers to the west wing of the palace, and make sure under no circumstances does Loki go into the west wing. Oh and one more thing, spread the word, tell everyone about it, but make sure you tell them not to tell Loki." She instructed him. "Considerate it done." Thor said, and immediately got to work.

She headed straight towards the kitchen, and immediately began prepping the food for the surprise. Inside the kitchen wasn't as busy as she thought it was gonna be, and this is exactly what she needed. She wasn't fully alone though, there were a couple of maids in the corner. She politely asked them if she could prepare a surprise lunch for Loki. They didn't see a problem with it, so they happily agreed.

She didn't need a lot space, nor was she in the way. Working in a small corner she immediately got to work prepping the food. A little while later footsteps could be heard echoing throughout the hall towards the kitchen. She didn't think much of it, and assumed it was Thor with an update on the flowers. Before she had the chance to drop what she was doing to confront Thor, the person who it really was already revealed themselves.

"Hey ladies, could you please leave us?" Loki said in the doorway. One by one the maids filed out of the kitchen snickering and giggling as they went. She didn't stop, and continued to make their lunch. Once all the maids were gone, he made his way over to her. "Can you please just look at me?" He asked frustrated, but she continued to prep the lunch.

"I swear I'm going crazy over you. Everything was fine yesterday, and then this morning it's like everything was wrong. And to make it worse I don't even know what I did." She still didn't respond. Loki was running out patience because it seemed as though he was the only one who cared. "Do you even want to be together?" He asked, fearing this might be the only question she will answer, but she never did.

Aggravated, he whipped her around and forced her to face him. She didn't fight him off, instead she stared at him in the eyes for the first time all day. "I cherished every moment with you, from the biggest surprise, to small ones where we did nothing but talk. Just to look at you when I get the chance matters. Just the smell of you matters to me."

Yet, and still she never said a word. "Fine, if you don't answer to me now, you may never hear from me if I walk through those doors." Loki threatened. She knew without a doubt, that she wanted to be with Loki but the surprise was not worth her breaking character just yet, so she stayed silent.

As she stared into Loki's eyes she could tell this crushed him. She wanted to break character so bad, and hug him, and tell him she's not mad, but she had to keep reminding herself of the surprise. "Fine." Loki said and headed for the door. When she made sure he was gone completely, she immediately got back into action with prepping the food.

"We have to hurry up." She said to herself.

~After Hours

Everything was done. The flowers were setup in a heart shape, and the left over flower petals were thrown on the ground. The food was ready, and placed beautifully on a decorated table, thanks to the maids. As she stared out at the west wing, she was very satisfied and ready for Thor to go get Loki.

"This looks amazing Thor, thank you." She said. "You're very welcome. Now is it time to go get him?" Thor asked. "It's time, but when you go to get him, tell him I hurt myself really badly, and I need him. That should make him rush over here." Thor nodded and ran to go get Loki. She got in position, and waited.

Thor ran to his brother's bedroom, and started banging on the door. "Loki it's Thor, something has happened to-." He was cut off when the door opened, and on the other side was Loki who obviously had been crying. "Where is she?" He asked. "She's in the west wing. Hurry!" Loki pushed past Thor, and dashed to the west wing.

Meanwhile she waited patiently for Loki and Thor to arrive. She held a small blue box, with a message inside. After while in the distance, she saw Loki running after her, with Thor right behind him. When they were face to face, she could see the level of concern in his eyes.

"Are you okay?" Loki asked. She took a deep breathe, and finally said. "I've never been better." Of course this threw Loki off, but he couldn't be more happy to hear her speak. "What did I do wrong?" He asked, like he was never gonna get an answer. "Nothing. It seems as though my plan worked a little too well considering how you were crying." Loki got embarrassed and turned bright red. "You noticed?" He asked, and chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, and you think me not talking to you was easy, put yourself in my shoes. I wanted to break character so badly in the kitchen, but I couldn't and had to stick to the plan." She confessed. "Wait, what plan?" Loki asked. She smirked and handed Loki the blue box, and waited with bated breathe for him to open it. He read the little note inside, and had a look of complete shock and denial until he pulled back the secret compartment, and saw that the note was for real.

Tears welled in his, as he stared back at his wife in disbelief. "You for real?" He asked. She nodded her head yes as her own tears welled in her eyes. Out of pure excitement, he picked his wife up and spun her around. They shared a couple of laughs, and one passionate kiss.

Everyone who was in the west wing, began to cheer and applaud. She showed Loki the flowers, and the decorated table with the food on it, of course giving people their credit. "So did everyone know except me?" Loki asked in front of the food table. "Pretty much. You remember when I pulled your brother out the meeting room, yeah I told him everything I had planned, and he pulled through." Even though she had explained everything to him, there was one thing that wasn't adding up.

"So why ignore me all day?" Loki asked. "To be dramatic? I'm not sure, all I knew was if I ignored you it would have added.. spice to the surprise." She said and smirked.

After while, the two love birds, sat on the grass by the green flowers, ate the lunch that was prepared, and watched the sunset together. It was simple, yet so beautiful. Once it was completely dark outside they headed inside to their bedroom. They changed into their pajamas, and got ready for bed after such a long day. Physically, and emotionally.

"I don't care what prank or surprise you pull on me next time, please don't ever ignore me like that again. I really thought it was the end of our relationship." Loki said. "Really? Because the way I saw it was only the beginning. Besides you're stuck with me forever, you're not going anywhere." They both giggled at the comment.

They held each other, as they slowly drifted to sleep, like it was their last time. "Goodnight, my love." She said. "Goodnight, darling." He said, as they both fell asleep comfortably in each others arm.

Inside the box the note that was written was: "I start off small and tiny, until I grow and grow, but when the time comes away I go." In the secret compartment, was a positive pregnancy test. They finally were the complete family they wanted to be. He was a father, and she was a mother, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
