Alright, chapter 5, here you go.
Luke's POV:
After the kiss we just talked for a while, and I couldn't get her out of my head. I kept kind of zoning out, you know? More so than normal, of course. I couldn't help get excited thinking about our possible future together. Not in a sexual way, of course, but in a hopeless romantic one. I thought of all kinds of fun dates I could take her on. Of all the couple TikToks and pictures we could take. Of all the amazing gifts I could get her. Of all the amazing love songs I'd put in a playlist for only the two of us to ever hear. Of all the cheesy romantic stuff I could do to make sure she was happily mine forever. Not in a possessive way, of course, I just knew I never wanted to lose her.I had only been on one official date with her but I'd loved her for years and knew I was truly, deeply, madly in love with her. I made note of the fact that it would break my entire soul and being if we ever split up. I couldn't live without her. I'd been friends with her so long I was afraid I may never recover should we break up or one of us move away. I needed her. More so than I'd like to admit.
"Whatcha thinking about Lukey?" She asked playfully.
"You." I said before I realized.
She smiled and kissed me gently.
"What are you thinking about?" I asked.
"I'm thinking that you're going to be very good for me. Saying yes to this date may have been one of the smartest things I've done." She smiled.
"Agreed." I smiled back.
We got a text and I knew it must be the group chat.

Josh: Hey guys, wanna meet up soon ?Me: How about we just don't go ?
Josh: Seriously Luke
Me: Yeah dude, Layne and my date is going great and I'd really rather not die in some stupid haunted house before I get to take her on another one
Layne: Aww you think it's going great ? So do I :D
Ava: Honestly Josh we could just make it date night instead
Josh: But the haunted houseee
Me: Fine you baby, but I'm not staying long. I'll give you an hour but that's the max
Josh: Yes! Meet on the street in the front
Me: Now ?
Ava: I don't care when tbh
Josh: Yeah now lol
Layne: Alr should we bring anything?
Josh: We have snacks and water so I don't think so
Ava: And flashlights ?Josh: Yeah those too, forgot about them lol
Me: Yeah, alr we'll be there in a couple minutes ig
____________________________________________"I suppose we should grab some stuff and meet up with the others now." She said.
"I suppose so." I paused. "But I want one more kiss first." I smirked as I crashed my lips into hers again, and she playfully pushed me away after a couple seconds.
"While I'd love to stay here with you, forever, they'll be waiting for us." She giggled.
"They will won't they?" I agreed. "But they can wait for one more kiss." I laughed as I gently kissed her again. "Alright I guess we can go now."
I stood up and offered her my hand. When she took it, I pulled her up and spun her around in a little circle. She came flying up so fast that our faces were only inches apart once she regained her balance. I took the gods given opportunity to kiss her one last time.
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" She scolded jokingly.
"Maybe just a little."
We got in the car and I drove to the eerie, broken down building.
We saw their car and all got out.
They handed us flashlights and we started to walk towards the house.
