"you'll be preforming in 15 minutes" a guy from nailea's team told her. "okay, thank you chris" nai smiled. he smiled back and left. nailea went to look for some of my friends as she was also stopped by some other friends to take pictures. when she finished, she went to look for my friends. she then seen charli sitting at the bar spot with chase.
"hey" nailea tapped charli. she turned around and hugged her, "hi babe! I'm so excited!! when are you preforming?" she asked "in 15" nai smiled. she looked over at chase as he was looking around sarcastically. she rolled my eyes and said "oh my god!! chase!! my bestie!" nai hugged him "finally you recognize me" he said, "oh shut up" they llaughed.
— "you ready?" Troy asked vinnie as all he had to do was take a turn to make it to the destination. "I think" vinnie sighed.
Troy parked his car and looked at vinnie who looked back at Troy. they have each other small smiles and Troy nodded as a sign to go inside the large building which vinnie's ex girlfriend was in.
they got out the car and entered the building.
— "you're preforming in 5" a lady told nailea interrupting the chat she was having with her best friends. "okay! thank you" nai smiled. the lady left and they continued talking. "hey guys, have you seen troy?" nailea asked out of the blue, "no? I'll text him" dixie said as she pulled out her phone. "he said he's here. he's getting out the car" she told us.
"let's go surprise him?" charli said. "oh god, yes" nailea laughed. her, charli, dixie, and maddy (Jordan's gf) went to the entrance to surprise her best friend. she heard foot steps and a laugh that sounded exactly like troy's. she knew it was him so she whispered to the others to get ready and surprise Troy.
Troy walked in with vinnie and heard a big "BOO" from all 4 of the girls. they were all shocked as nailea was speechless seeing the one person she really didn't want to see at the time.
her and vinnie made eye contact with no facial expressions. "please nai. listen" vinnie plead. "what are you doing here" nailea asked in a very stone cold voice. "listen to me, please. I need you" nailea scoffed as she said "no. you obviously need emily."
vinnie soffed and rubbed his chin in frustration. this whole conversation was happening as if their best friends weren't around. as if it was just them. JUST them. "nailea marie. please" vinnie said as he gently reached for her hand. rubbing circles on the top of her hand as she had teary eyes looking at the sight. she gently took her hand off of his. "I have to go." she said as she walked off.
vinnie watched her as she walked off in disbelief. he felt an arm touch his shoulder, it was dixie. "you've got this, just try telling her" she said to him. he sighs and before he gets to say anything, avani came up to them "where's your girlfriend?" she teases vinnie "we're not dating anymore" vinnie said, "oh no, not nai. I'm talking about emily" avani winks as they all laugh except for vinnie. "not funny."
before anyone got to say anything they heard the beat to nailea's song start. they all looked up at the stage and seen her with her mic ready to sing.
"Well, good for you, I guess you moved on really easily You found a new girl and it only took a couple weeks" she sang. that line made vinnie scoff as he remembered she still thinks he's actually dating emily.
nai's singing when on and on. vinnie at one point felt as if it was useless to try and get her back. I mean, the song she's singing IS about him. he knew she was fed up, she was looking at him with a cold face throughout the whole song. vinnie was super close to leaving until charli stopped him from going and told him to give it a try. charli herself, and the others, wanted vinnie and nailea to get back to together. they just couldn't bare how broken they were not together.
the party eventually finished and vinnie was waiting outside the building for nailea. he told Troy to head back home, he'll just get an uber.
after waiting what felt like hours but really just 20 minutes, nailea came out the building all happy and laughing with dixie, chase, and avani. she looked over and seen vinnie which made her smiles drop.
"why are you still here?" she asks him, "I need to talk to you" vinnie responds. "we'll be over there" dixie whispered to nai and vinnie as they left to some car. vinnie got closer to nailea and started speaking "look, I just wanted to say I'm so so sorry. I want you to know how sorry I am but it really isn't my fault."
"then who's was it?" she laughed sarcastically, "what? did you get drugged? did you-" she was going to continue until vinnie interrupted her "yes, I did."
her smile dropped as she heard that sentence come out of his mouth. many thoughts where circling around her head. she didn't know if he was lying or not. she was going to say something until a familiar voice interrupted her thoughts.
"hey! nai, right?" they both turned around and nai gasped.
the guy from the air port.
"oh hey!" she nervously laughed. she knew vinnie was probably clenching his jaw or something so she kept doing it. "oh, is this your boyfriend? my bad man" the boy said about to leave until nai stopped him, "no he's not my boyfriend. we broke up" she smiled.
"let's go" vinnie said holding her arm to leave.
"hey!! vinnie, nai! nice to see you guys together again!" another familiar voice shouted which left them both shocked and not knowing what to do at the time.
