Throughout history, those with powers were discriminated against. They were called witches, they were excluded, they were killed. And they were powerless to stop it, time and time again.

Until 10 years ago, when one man had enough of this vicious cycle. That man was named Reeve, and he was the founder and leader of the Soldiers of Autonomy, known as the biggest group of villains to ever live.

After destroying the town government, Reeve (known as the Dark Shadow) took the town over with his most trusted visionaries beside him. This started the time known as the Age of Autonomy, a time filled with crime, death, and anarchy. Nothing was safe, everybody lived in fear. Organized crime ran rampant in the city, along with many terrible crimes. No work was done, most hospitals were destroyed, and buildings crumbled.

But the Soldiers of Autonomy weren't the only group who wanted change.

Having lived in the Age of Autonomy for almost all of their lives, a group of teens were sick of the fear, the lack of school, the terrible hostility and anarchy to the point where most people couldn't even walk down the street without a weapon in hand.

These teens called themselves the Legacy Fighters, and they began to bring order to the city in any way possible. They stopped mugging and murders and quickly became city-wide heroes. They didn't use the most legal methods, but there were no laws in the Age of Autonomy.

Some battles were fought, but most were small and insignificant until the final battle. The Battle of Legacy, when the Legacy Fighters found the Autonomy hideout and ambushed them all. The fight was brutal, many lives were lost during the battle, and more buildings were collapsed. Damage was done, but it was all worth it in the end. The Legacy Fighters found a way to take Dark Shadow's powers and killed him. Legacy won, and took over the town.

The Soldiers of Autonomy fled underground, where the tunnels are routinely checked to make sure they aren't planning to overthrow the Legacy. Without Dark Shadow, they have not tried anything... yet.

Legacy fighters became the Legacy Council and began remaking society from the ground up. They created their own headquarters, a large building on the side of town. They also crested the Legacy Scouts, kids who want to help by doing what the Legacy Council used to do (with more laws and restrictions, of course).

It has been three years since the Battle of Legacy, and the city is almost completely rebuilt.

But there is still a lot of work to do, and time may not have healed all wounds...
