Before either of them knew it, minutes had turned into hours and soon it was already the middle of the afternoon. The two of them had stopped by several different places with hiring signs and even stopped by a couple of extra shops to look around. It had really been a fun experience and throughout the entire time, Gray hadn't released Natsu's hand once, unless he needed it to write. It really looked as if they were a true couple, but that wasn't the case at all. Not yet anyways. To the raven's surprise, Natsu hadn't tried to pull his hand away the entire time. In fact, the pink haired male almost seemed disappointed during the few times he had to let go. If anything, that just made him seem even more adorable than he already was. Job hunting with the pink haired male had definitely been fun, but it was getting a bit on the late side.

"Hey Gray." Natsu's voice suddenly rang in the raven's ear. Almost instantly, he turned toward the direction the voice was coming from, only to be met with Natsu's wide eyes and red cheeks. Damn, this omega was going to be the death of him in cuteness. No one should be so damn adorable, yet here Natsu was, doing it like it was natural.

"What's up?" Gray finally asked, tilting his head slightly to the side. In the current moment, the two of them were still holding hands rather tightly. It was almost as if they were afraid to let go. Unless Natsu was wanting to let go...maybe that's what the pink haired boy was going to tell him. Maybe he should let go before Natsu asked him too...but then again what if he didn't want that? Damn, he was overthinking this.

"I think we've done enough job hunting for today. We should get back and work on that essay before it gets too late. After all, it is due on Monday and apparently you haven't even started it yet!" Natsu was definitely teasing him about the entire situation, but Gray couldn't be mad at him. If anything he deserved to be teased a little because it really was his fault. If he hadn't been so lazy it would have been done. However since it wasn't done, that meant he got to spend more time with Natsu.

"Right then. Let's head back. We should still have the place to ourselves for at least a couple of hours. I can even order us some food so we can eat while we work." Gray was actually in the mood for Chinese takeout or something, but of course he would settle for whatever the pink haired male wanted since he wasn't that picky about his food. "We can order whatever you're in the mood for."

"Are you sure about that?" Natsu asked, giving Gray a bit of a concerned look. He didn't want to fully make the decision on his own. Surely they could come to an agreement on whatever kind of food they wanted, but Gray simply shook his head and ruffled Natsu's spiky pink locks.

"I'm positive, and I promise to have you back home before it gets too late." Gray smiled softly as he gave Natsu's hand a gentle squeeze. With the pink haired omega returning the raven's smile, the two of them proceeded to walk down the sidewalk once again, heading straight for the dorms.

"Geez Gray, you didn't even pick a topic yet? You really did procrastinate." Natsu said as he looked over the assignment sheet to refresh his memory on the paper. It had been so long since he had completed his, he nearly forgot what the task was. As the two of them sat on the dark blue colored blankets of Gray's bed, they were leaning their backs against the wall, their shoulders practically touching as they both scanned over the paper.

"Yeah...I really did put it off..." Gray rubbed the back of his head in an embarrassed way while his cheeks were dusted in a light shade of pink. Seeing the raven haired male blushing like that, it got a small laugh out of Natsu as he gently nudged the other's shoulder. They definitely had their work cut out for them, but the pink haired male was certain they could figure something out.

"Well don't worry about it. Just pick one and we'll get started on it. It only has to be five pages, so it won't take long to type." Natsu gave Gray an innocent little smile while the two of them started to scan over the outline with the possible topics. There were several to choose from including historical events, famous authors, and several others. Natsu had chosen a personal event that happened in his life. The paper hadn't been easy to write, but he managed to pull through it.He had written about a major event that had affected his life, but he changed some things up to make it look more like a short story than an essay. The teacher had approved it and as far as he knew, he had gotten a decent grade on it.
