So about two days after the date at home with a " amazing " sunrise if you know what I mean but it was time for the next event in okc (I know major time skip)
PBR 2021 here we come
Jess's POV
I woke up super early to someone shaking me awake
I jumped up to see Derek
Jess:Derek what the hell man it's 2 in the morning
Derek:shhhh your gonna wake up Kayla you need to get dressed and come with me it's important
Jess:okay I'll be right out
(Okay weird that he's doing this but oh well)
I got dressed and told Kayla Derek needed me I walked out the front door and was greeted with a smiling Derek Kolbaba and long and be hold JB Mauney
Jess:what the hell dude
Jb:come with us
Jess:okay fine
They led me out to the barn and told me to turn the lights on I had to walk all the way across the arena to turn them on I got about half way when the gates rattled not gonna lie it scared the shit out of me
I jumped and ran turned the lights on and seen the one and only Air time in my bull pen
Jess:what is Air Time doing here
Derek:we bought him
Jess:no freaking way
Jb:100% ours but for now he's staying here Derek doesn't have space for him and I don't have a trailer to haul him in
Jess:dude kaylas gonna kill us
Jb:already talked it over with her she just didn't know it would be tonight
Jess:okay well now that I know I'm gonna to go back to bed for a few hours

Jess:night
I went in the house and changed clothes and was out like a light

Your POV
I woke up to a sleeping Jess man did he look cute
I got up and got in the shower when I went to wash my body I felt a pair of hands around my waist
You:well good morning Mr.Lockwood
Jess:good morning beautiful
You:who'd you sleep
Jess:good until Derek and jb woke me up
You:yah I heard Derek in the room last night what did he need
Jess:well Air Time is in the bull pen at the arena
You:damn that quick
Jess:yah
After y'all showered and got dressed y'all loaded up the truck and hit the road

Jess's POV
I was getting kinda tired and noticed we needed fuel so I pulled into the nearest gas station and looked over and saw a sleeping Kayla I hated to wake her up but I needed some sleep to
Jess:Kayla....Kayla
You:I woke up to Jess calling my name and gently shaking me awake
You:I'm up I'm up
I looked around and saw were at a gas station
Jess:hate to wake you but I'm tired and we needed gas do you need anything from inside
You:I just have to use the restroom and get some snacks and drinks
Jess:okay

Your POV
I walked into the gas station and used the restroom got snacks and drinks I walked back out to the truck and Jess was knocked out in the passenger seat I drove the rest of the way and pulled into the hotel across the street from the venue
You:Jess honey we're here
Jess:okay
I turned the truck off and helped unload the  bags we walked in and got checked in on are way up to the room we ran into chase Cooper Derek and Cody
You:hey boys
Cooper:hey lil sis
Derek:long time no see
Jess:what's up guys
Chase:damn Jess looks like a train ran over you
Jess:I feel like it
Cody:hey Kayla
You:Cody
Cody:I guess not
With that you and Jess went into your room and went to bed
The next morning y'all took turns showering and got dressed

Jess's POV
Me and Kayla haven't really talked about the weeding much but she seems off I don't know why I guess it's because she's been working so much taking care of the guys but at the same time it seems like it's something else that's bothering her
Jess:hey babe
You:yah what's up
Jess:is everything okay you seem off lately
You:I feel off
Jess:why
You:I don't know every time you ride I get scared and I usually don't
Jess;there's nothing to be scared about
You:I guess your right well you ready to go
Jess:yah but one more thing
You:sure
Jess:we need to set a date for the weeding soon
You:I know we can talk about it tonight
Jess:sounds like a plan
You head out to the truck and drive to the arena once you get there y'all walk in hand in hand until you get to the medical room
You:okay see you in a few minutes
Jess:yup I'll need my good luck kiss
You:it never fails

Your POV
I was getting everything ready when the door opened and Cody walked in
You:yes Cody
Cody:just came to get taped and ice
You:okay sit on the table and I'll right with you
Cody:okay
You:so how's life going
Cody:good I found me a new girl
You:oh really what's her name
Cody:Caitlin
You:pretty name
Y'all made small talk as you taped him up
Once you were done a few other bull riders came in and you did the same thing
"Knock knock"
You:come in
Derek:hey just came to see how your doing
You:good why
Derek:you seem off what's going on
You:I'm scared something is going to happen to Jess when he rides tonight
Derek:he'll be fine okay
You:but what if he's not and something really bad happens and we have to postpone the weeding
Derek:I'll make sure nothing happens okay
You:okay
You waited and talked with Tandy until Jess came in
Jess:hey sweetheart
You:hey handsome
Jess:I promise I'm going to be okay alright
You:I know it's just bothering me because the four years that we've been together I've never been this scared about you riding
Jess:it's okay
You:okay well come here
He walked closer to you and you gave him a sweet passionate kiss and he held you closer the longer you kissed him
You:okay you better go before I make you late
Jess:you going to watch me ride
You:yup
Jess:okay see you soon then
With that he walks out and you wanted to cry but Tandy pulled you into a hug
Tandy:if and I'm saying IF he does get hurt you don't have to work on him and I'll let you stay by his side okay
You:"sniffes" thank you
Tandy:anytime
It's getting close to the end of the bull riding and you've had a lot of riders com in with bad injuries and that just made you even more nervous
Tandy:hey Kayla Jess is about to ride
You:thank you
You run out back by the chutes and waited he nodded his head and only lasted about three seconds before falling off and getting stomped on pretty bad
You:JESS
You started to run into the arena to get him but Derek beat you to him and got him out before the bull could do anything else to him
Once he was out and in the medical room he had come to and was fine
Sean came into the room and told him that he thinks Jess needs to take some time off to focus on his family as take it slow for a little bit
You:thank you Sean
Sean:no problem
Y'all head back to the hotel and go to sleep

(Hey guys I've had someone drop some ideas I hope you guys like it I'll be writing a lot for the next day or two I have some time off from the NJBRA so I'm just sitting at home bored but next Monday I'll be busy for most of the summer this one is longer than the rest so I hope you like it.I'll update some more chapters through out the night and try to get as much done before I get super busy Thanks for showing all the love)
