"I don't see the point"

Said Jingyu talking about the 'zero' tattoo. When he learned about the meaning of it, the first thought that cross his mind was 'what a stupid idea'. He thought 'what's the point of getting matching tattoos when you don't even have the certainty of a long lasting relationship?'. Indeed now that weizhou's relationship ended that indelible mark will just stay on him forever. Jingyu knew that being the possessive type that he is, anything related to his girlfriend's ex on her body would just make him crazy.

"After the drama ends I will change it into something else"

Was the only answer that he got from an unbothered Weizhou.

And as Weizhou stepped foot in the bedroom after a shower half naked, Jingyu couldn't help but be curious about his other tattoo.

When Weizhou reached the wardrobe in search of his pajama Jingyu couldn't help but stare at the naked back, noticing how much the clear and detailed image stood out on the pale skin despite the black lines being visibly faded.

The fragrant and fruity scent lingered in the room filling his nostrils and it was as if spring was already coming. The trickling water running down his skin was akin to an enticing dance that left him hypnotized.

Actually Jingyu still didn't realize the power that Weizhou had over him. It was as if he possessed this kind of magnetic influence that made Jingyu unable to pull his eyes away.

After Weizhou put on his pajama, he turned around meeting the intent gaze of Jingyu that immediately averted his eyes as soon as he got noticed.

As Weizhou lied on the bed getting himself cozy under the warm duvet he glimpsed at Jy. He was immersed in his thoughts half seated, fiddling with his phone.

"Are you ok?" When zhouzhou concerned voice snapped him back to reality he was confronted with big dark eyes and a gentle smile. "You were frowning so bad"

He chuckled trying to explain himself for interrupting his contemplative moment.

"Did something happen?" Jingyu blinked 2 times, an indication that his own reflections were coming to a conclusion.

"Can I see your tattoo?"

It was so abrupt that the question surprised him a bit.

"Why? You want to get one too?"

Weizhou wasn't sure about his intentions but still followed his request. He shifted his body to lay down on his stomach and pulled up the shirt.

"Are you really considering getting a tattoo? A muscly kangaroo all over your back might suit you. Oh wait! I know! What about a big fat yellow whale?"

While giggling, Weizhou didn't notice him getting near his shoulder to better observe the art.

He felt his callous fingers touching him gently as if dealing with something really delicate. A soft touch that made his skin tingle, sending shivers all through his spine. Weizhou didn't realize all the while he was holding his breath. Then let out a sigh.

"Are you cold?"

Asked Jingyu as he saw Weizhou's skin getting goosebump. Indeed he was supposed to feel chilly with his bare back exposed to the winter cold. So why did his skin start to tremble when Jingyu's warm breath enveloped his skin.

"A little bit"

Answered Weizhou trying to hide the turmoil and agitation in his heart. He then hurried to lift down his shirt, shoving Jingyu's hand away. He got saddened and displeased for not getting the time to take a good look at it and appreciate it.

After turning off the lights as if nothing happened Jingyu asked

"What does it mean?"

Weizhou got more comfortable putting his arm under the head staring at the ceiling. Jingyu followed, looking at him waiting for an answer.

"The koi represents strength, prosperity and luck while the lotus means rebirth and enlightenment. It's a lucky charm and at the same time a reminder. That through struggles and obstacles with great determination and dedication I can grow stronger, braver and beautiful, like a blooming lotus rising from murky waters. Yet not forget to always be compassionate and kind"

"Oh, I kinda like it"

Answered Jingyu, making him chuckle. Listening to Zhouzhou's youthful and lighthearted laugh was like soothing music that warmed his heart.

"Don't worry I can recommend you to a place that has a really good artist that I know and maybe they will also make you a discount"

Giggled Weizhou knowing too well that he was the 'I'll never get a tattoo' type.

Then jingyu got an idea.

"What about this, I'm going to get a tattoo if you will tattoo all your face. Deal?"

They looked at each other for an indefinite time. Since it was dark it was difficult to clearly see each other but the dim light coming from the street light outside was enough to outline the other person's features and catch that sparkle in their eyes.

"If I will seriously do it at 60 year old then you are obliged to do the same"

"I don't mind waiting for another 40 years"

Weizhou scoffed and without uttering a word he prepared to go to sleep

"So? Deal?" He tried it shake zhouzhou shoulders lightly

"Just go to sleep"

"Tsk!"

'Maybe it's not a bad idea waiting for another 40 years' thought Jy before going to sleep.
