I had just arrived to school And I see my boyfriend of 4 months, Alex. Alex is the star basketball player at our school in Chicago. He is very handsome with his lightly tanned skin and quifed brown and blond hair, he is quite tall and in great shape. I begin to walk over to him, and see his friend Jasper walk away. I get over to Alex and kisses him on the check, he looks very uncomfortable and a tad bit nervous; which is getting me nervous too.
"Hey Shane." Alex says in his deep husky voice that I love. "I've been meaning to tell you something for a while now, it's just your really annoying and a whiny bitch. The only reason I'm going out with you is for a dare."
When that leaves his mouth I can only be in shock, I never thought this at all. I just can't believe that he said this. "I thought you loved me," I whisper.
Alex looks almost hysterical at that. "Hah love nobody could love a useless loser like yourself." Alex walls away and just like that my heart is crushed. Jasper hands Alex a 50$ bill and flips me off.
I start to run off but then I am stopped by my best friend Ethan. Ethan and I have been friends since grade 1, he has cute longish blonde hair and glasses, and is very smart, he is shorter than me by quite a bit and has two different coloured eyes one being a beautiful hazel and the other a morning sky blue. We have helped each other through so many things he helped me with so many breakups, and I helped him through his parents divorce.
Ethan sees my tears and then guesses it's Alex I just nod my head sadly. He brings me back to my house and into the main room. We sit on the couch I just keep sobbing into his shoulder. He just whispers sweet nothing into my ear while running his hand through my thick red hair.
When I Eventually stop crying Ethan looks at me and says "you know I was going to tell you this at school but this is a better time." He takes a deep breath "I love you Shane ever since the 6th grade, I love your red hair your caring personality, your freckles around your nose your big brown eyes." That's when I lean in and kiss him, and the kiss is magical something you'd read in fiction there are fireworks going off everywhere.
This is what true love feels like I think so I say it back "Ethan A Walker I love you too.
