I was on the plane watching everything out of the window. I sighed and looked at the seat in front of me. So many things have changed in a hundred years that it was shocking. In those years people thought I was a vampire and tried to kill me but it didnt work. I looked to the guy next to me and he was fast asleep. I poked his face out of boredum and he snorted. He blinked awake and looked at me. "What?" He said sleepily. "Nothin'." I replied. He was out quickly. I leaned back in my seat and I felt like I was being watched. I looked around and saw a man with black air and beautiful brown eyes staring at me. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window again. When the plane landed I got my bags and looked around the airport. "Great...why did I have to forget my plan?" I grumbled to myself. I turned and bumped into the man who was staring at me on the plane. "Oh I am sorry." He said as I landed on the ground. "What ever." I hissed. I saw his hand and the watch he had on seemed to be fairly old. I took it and he pulled me up. "My name is Mark by the way." He said as he shook my hand. I looked at his face in confusion. He is a strange man. "Hi." I said back. He reminds me of a friend I had about fifty years ago. they look exactly alike and they sound the same. He died from a train accident. I turned and grabbed my bag. "Whats your name?" He asked. "[F/n]." I said with a bitter tone. I just walked pass him and froze. Where am I going?
I looked around and pulled out my cell phone. "Ok....How does this thing work?" I asked as I hit the power button. A 118 year old girl trying to learn how to use a cell phone is truely something to see. I managed to get the internet thing to work. "Uh...now what?" I asked. "Looking for a hotel or something?" I jumped at the sudden voice of the man who is named Mark. I punched him in the face out of natural reflex. He stumbled back and covered his nose. "DONT DO THAT!" I shouted at him. He just started to laugh. I turned pink and looked at the taller man. Rage started to boil in my gut and I looked at the floor. How do I control this anger? I threw a upper cut and knocked him to the floor. I have massive rage issues. He lied there on the floor with a shocked look. A man a little taller than Mark was laughing as he walked closer. "Mark. You need to stop pissing people off like that." He said when he stopped by Marks head and knelt down. "Oh hi Thomas...and I didnt mean to this time." He replied to the taller man. I felt a small amount of sweat trickle down my neck. I turned towards the taller man. "Do you know any hotels?" I asked. "No not really. But my little brother," He helped Mark up and leaned on Marks head, "Has a spare room you can rent until you can find your own place." Mark punched his brothers ribbs and I watched him fall to the ground holding his side. "And of course I get hurt." He groaned. I looked at Mark and he had the largest smile. "I won." He stated in the cockiest tone. I shook my head and swung my bag over my shoulder.
Mark led the way to his car and I was in the far back. I remembered when I was little and I was behind my old friend Mark. We were playing tag and when I caught up I slipped and went rolling down the hill. Mark stopped and came after me. I sprained my ankle and he helped me get home. I snapped back when I heard my name to see Mark standing by the car holding the door open. I got in and it felt strange. I was never in the front seat of a car before. "So..." Mark said as he got in on the drivers side, "What brings you to LA?" He asked. I glanced at him and shrugged. "Not sure." I replied. Thomas was staring at me from the back seat now. I hated being stared at. "What is it?" I asked. He shook his head. I had a confused look and looked out the window. Mark started the car and we were off. As we passed the buildings I was pressed to the window. So much has changed in a few years...well 20 years does go by quickly. Thomas was laughing at me the whole way. When we got to the apartment complex a memory hit me. My old home used to be here. I smiled and quickly ran in. Mark ran ahead of me with a smile. I tripped on a stare and stumbbled all the way to the apartment then faceplanted. "Way to go clutz." Mark said while unlocking the door. "HEY MARK!" A very tall guy about six feet popped around the corner. He had a red shirt with a big black W on it. "Oh hi Wade. Whats up?" Mark asked. "Oh nothing. Just wanted to stop by before going back home." I walked right passed him and looked around. "Where is the spare room?" I asked. "Upstares to the right." He pointed towards a spiral staircase I smiled and ran up them. I froze when I bumped into a bigger guy. Width wise. He was shorter than Wade but taller than Mark. "Oh hello." He said as he fixed his glasses. I stepped to the side and avoided eye contact. "Oh thank you miss." He bowed his head as a thank you and walked down the stairs. I walked on until I got to a door. I opened it and it was a bed room. Neat and the bed was freshly made. I dropped my bag and flopped into the bed. Changing with the times is hard. I got off the bed and walked back to meet up with Mark. I stopped when I saw Wade and the other man stareing at me.
I looked at Mark and he too was stareing. I looked away and went into the living room. "Whats your name?" I heard a voice ask. "Her name is [f/n]." Mark said in responce. I quickly pulled out my cell phone and stared at it. It was a redish color and a flip phone. A small charm dangled from it of a cross. Everything went quiet around me as I stared at the phone. I felt a hand touch my shoulder which made me jump. I looked up and saw Mark. "Are you ok?" I nodded. I put my phone away and he held a controller to me. "Halo?" I gave him a puzzled look. "Pardon?" I asked. He smirked. "Have you ever played a video game before?" He asked. I took the controller and examined it. "No I have not...I dont even know what they are." I admited. He got a shocked look. "You are how old?" He asked. I had to lie. "18." I whispered. He raised a eybrow. He turned on the thing for the games and turned on the controller. I waved my hand in front of the controller trying to figure out how it worked. He looked at me with a confused look. "What never used a wireless item before?" He asked. I blushed and looked down. "No." I admitted. "Wow your childhood must have been strange growing up with out any video games or wireless items." He stated as he hit the green button on the controller. This was going to be a long night for us due to him trying to teach me how to play video games.
