Today was a new day, a big one too. Although Sapnap didn't know it yet today would change a-lot.

--------

His alarm went off at 10:00 a.m, he got out of bed and got dressed. He knew he had to make the phone call today before his deal expired.

Sapnap had made a deal with his mom that he'd either move out by the end of the month, or keep living with her until he finished college, thing is Sapnap couldn't stand his mom. She was always being pushy and picky.

As he walked out of his room he knew his mother was going to bring it up, the move the call everything.

And he was right.

"You know Nick, theres only a week of the month left. You still seem to be dragging yourself out of this house everyday. I assume you'll be staying here." Even though his mom tried to phrase it nicely, he knew what she meant.

Your too lazy to do anything so I knew you'd end up staying here anyway.

He didn't want to argue with her, he wanted to get out of this house as fast as he could.

"Well actually I was going to-" He couldn't finish, she already started to hum to herself not caring about what he had to say.

He decided to just leave, he was annoyed with her as it was. He put on his shoes and headed out the door.

"No I love you to your mom, Nick?" He heard her say. He didn't care to answer though, instead he held up a peace sign above his head and kept walking.

'Screw you'  He mumbled under his breath.

--------

He went over to a skate park and decided he was going to skate a bit before he made the call, it would relieve his stress and make the situation easier to handle.

He had been skating ever since he was 6 years old, he loved it more then anything.

Sapnap picked up his skateboard and placed it onto the floor, where he then positioned it and himself and then went down the ramp.

It was a feeling he couldn't describe, the wind blowing through his long hair, he could smell all the fresh air. It felt like floating through the sky.

--------

An hour or two had gone by before he stopped.

He was sweaty as hell, and tired but he knew he had to make the call. He took a sip of his water and the whipped out his phone.

"Hello?" He said nonchalantly, awaiting the response from the other end of the line.

"Hey, is this Sapnap?"

"Yeah it is, you Dream?"

"Yup, so about the apartment arrangement, we would both pay half the rent each month right?"

"Yeah exactly, it would be like a partnership bro" Sapnap said, trying to make the situation less serious. He heard Dream laugh on the other end of the phone.

"Alright so do you wanna meet up at the apartment later, and start like settling in?" Dream said.

"Sure dude" Sapnap said, they both laugh, said bye and then the call was ended. Sapnap decided to start heading home to take a shower, because there was no way he was going to meet his new roomie all sweaty.

--------

"Knew you'd be back" His mother said, he didn't care enough to answer her, he just went upstairs and started his shower.

While the water warmed up he began to pack a bag full of the things he'd need to stay overnight and he'd come back for the rest of his stuff tomorrow. He heard a knock on his wall and turned around, to see his mother peering into his bedroom.

"What are you doing Nick." She said, her tone wasn't the most friendly, Sapnap knew she wanted him to stay at the house just because he could go out and get her whatever she wanted so she wouldn't have to.

"I'm packing my bags mom, I called this guy earlier and we agreed to meet up and start settling into an apartment that we would pay off together."

"Stop with the nonsense Nick, this deal was a joke and you're staying home." She tried to grab his bag away from him, but he tossed it back and stood in front of it.

"Stop it mom, I mean it. You only want me to stay to get you fucking cigarettes from the deli, you don't even ever care to ask me how i've been or what I do when I go out. I'm done waiting for you to start acting like a fucking mom, instead I'm leaving.

"Nick stop saying stupid rumo-"

"You screwed this up mom, not me. Don't go acting like I'm lying when you know I'm fucking right. Why don't you get one of your fucking man whores to do shit for you, because I'm fucking done with it."

He picked up his bag and walked passed her through the door, into the bathroom. He wanted to skip the whole shower and just leave but he couldn't. He could hear his mom angrily walk down the stairs, but he was focusing too much on getting the hell out of there to care.

--------

After he finished the shower and got ready, he walked down the stairs. He saw his mom fucking smoking and wasting herself on the couch.

He just walked past her and opened the front door.

"Oh look who's leaving. After years of raising you, FUCK YOU NI-" His mother was yelling at him from inside the house.

'Raising me, fucking bullshit'  Sapnap thought as he got into the Uber that he had ordered.
