Chapter 1

I remember my sister telling me stories of the zombie apocalypse. I remember her saying What she would do if the zombie apocalypse what happened. I never thought it would actually happen but it was always fun to say I would do this or I would do that. I just wish my parents and family would all be together but that's not how I happened. And this is my story.

On March 1 it was a normal day, I got up and went to the bathroom to Pee noticing our electricity was off. That was strange why would our electricity be off? We pay the bill, at that time, mom had a good job. I don't know why been off. Because I have a little bladder I would decided to go pee anyways. I looked on the counter and saw note that my mom left for me, two weeks ago. It read, "Katie,take care of the dog and cat. Make sure you clean the house up because I don't want to come home to a dirty house I love you Katie."

But I always smile at that. After peeing I was going to wash my hands but at the time the nozzle no water came out. What the hell happened?

I look at my phone it said 10:30 even though it said no signal I didn't worry about it because usually I don't have no signal in my house. There were many things creepy about today. But I wasn't going to let anything ruin my day, it was going to be a great day. I finally getting to go out to go shopping for my prom dress I want to something flowing and nice. I went outside to see the temperature because that was the only way to really tell was warm or cold. I want the side to see the strangest thing there was somebody running saying, "help me help me." This girl yelled on top of her lungs At me.

I squinted my eyes to see what was behind the girl, there was a thing covered blood and what it look like a monster maybe. My heart started raining, what's happening, I thought. It was a couple feet from her I thought she was going to make it to my house but the worst thing happened. She tripped and the thing bit her I don't know what was happening but I shut my door and locked it. I turn my TV on to see what was going on and As soon as I turned it on a siren went off it read STAY INSIDE something from the government all CITIZENs to stay inside no matter what.

Oh no I thought. I'm the only one home,I have neighbors across the street but I'm way too scared to go outside because of what I saw. My parents were in Georgia, my sisters where at friends house.I looked outside again it didn't look any different than any other day, I looked down the street and saw a vehicle flipped upside down this is not normal for my small town we really didn't have room we were the only place in Kentucky that only has an accidents once a year. What's happening to me? Could this be a dream, I thought.

This is so strange, in the neighbors house next-door I could see a blinking light like someone trying to Signal me. The man that leaves there wasn't a really old but it wasn't very young but he was seriously nice. He had an children who was adorable she were only 7 an Little girl. After noticing that I noticed him, He held up a sign that read that said are you okay? I am okay I thought well yeah I'm okay. I went and got some paper and wrote then it said yeah why? He started writing this time same everything hasn't been for a week.

I thought too much sleep someone must have drugged me up. I've never slept that much, what happened to me. He held up another sign that said, I'll check if it's okay outside I want you to run over. Okay I thought.

I saw him slowing opening his door and looking at me and then waving his hand. Looking at how I was dressed was in pjs and house slippers. I don't ever think I ran that fast ever. I got into his house He hurried and locked the door behide me. I looked around I saw his little girl in a ball sleeping in the living room. I gave him a funny looked.
