I got bored and got some ideas that are to short for a actual full book so I made them one-shots
I'm gonna do the same thing as my smut shot book, I'll have a mix of one shots, originals and ones I find that'll have credit
I've been binge watching Steven universe over the weekend and came up with this, I have a ton of other one shots that aren't finished yet mainly cause I didn't have any internet for bout a week and a half since I moved plus no motivation/writers block but I just got this idea right after finishing the last ep (i'll also finish the others as soon as possible) soooo enjoy.....

3rd POV
Nora Quartz Universe, otherwise known as Marinette Dupain-Cheng is a gem.
Before Nora was born her parents Greg Universe and Rose Quartz made a decision to move location to protect Nora from Rose's past. Although Greg doesn't know much about Rose's past he trusts Rose to do what's best for the baby. So they moved to Paris/Empire City under the alias Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng. They decided to start a bakery together under those alias' named "Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie".

(No joke, Empire City has a version of the Eiffel tower^, sooo let's just say Paris is nicknamed Empire City.)
When Nora was born and Rose "died by giving birth" the crystal gems at first thought Rose shape-shifted or malfunctioned and kidnaped Nora. Later they realized Rose gave birth and now the gem is Nora's.
While Nora grew up she learned of her powers and went on missions with the crystal gems. One day Nora came home with someone, a friend she made while at the park across the street. However the crystal gems had bad timing because as soon as they warped into the bakery the "friend" ran and never once returned since.
When Nora was 12 she found out more about her mom, who she was, what she did. She found out her mom was a Diamond, that she faked her own shattering.
Nora was 13 when her father decided to enroll her in school under the alias Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Although the crystal gems disliked the idea and argued against it, Nora thought it would be fun meeting humans her age and learning things about humans that she never knew before.
When Nora went to school she was shocked, so many kids her age were fooling around and having fun. Nora quickly adapted to the school environment learning how to act and speak like the rest, eventually developing them into her own personality.
Nora's favorite was gym, getting to play games and challenging everyone felt like when she would go on missions, which sadly she didn't go on much anymore since she started school. Whenever Nora had gym she would change in the bathroom stalls, most of the girls thought that she was shy or insecure and in one instance "fat". When in actuality Nora was very toned for her age, she just doesn't want people questioning her gem.
