The Girl
We had found a girl. She did not say a word to us. She was very shy, and she had a peculiar laugh when she got nervous . Also when we asked her a question. The only movement that she would do that was not walking of course was to or shake her head yes or no. We decided to let her join us. Looking back to the event now I think it's funny how at the beginning I did not recognize her. Maybe it was pale face that used to be tan, maybe I was how scared she looked or maybe it was the long scar in the side of her face. We did take her along we walked and walked to see if we could find another survived, for us to take along.What we did not know at the time was that we where looking in the wrong places for survivors. It was foolish of us to think that people had stayed here even after the war was over. They must have had everyone evacuate. Even though we did one survive why would we think there is more. Of course we found none. Then we had decided to find somewhere to shelter us for the night ahead.mWhen we woke up we decided to head of towards the north. We where always moving to not waste time. We had crossed one more village and found nothing there either. So we kept walking. startled we had stopped the trail had disappeared,but the girl kept walking. Even though we're doubtful me and Anna followed. What we found made us wonder if we where dreaming it was the most beautiful
waterfall I had ever seen around river that it fell into,was a community of people, they were survivors. There was a bundle of shelter like homes and long tables in the middle of it all. At last the girl spoke, and she said Welcome back Jessica. This surprised me since I had not yet told her my name. It frightened me because she might had been one of them. After this I fainted. She had injected me to put me to sleep. And after that my mind is blank I don't remember anything.
