My Brother

Jake

After the class was over jake came directly to my table and asked if we can hang out for a while before we head home. Now I couldn't deny his request since he's very close to me. I texted my brother that I would be going out with Jake and will be returning late, I could see my brother trying to text something but could not wait for his text since I had to go now. Jake took me to a small shop which was just outside our school and we went to a nearby park. We had a very long chat and it was fun hanging out with him. It was very comfortable talking to him and we had few open conversation. Jake even asked me if I have someone I like and I could see the eagerness in his eyes waiting for my answer. Before I answer I asked him if he is seeing anyone. He just blushed and he said I asked you 1st u should answer before me. I saw his eyes for a minute and could see the bright light rays in his eyes and all of a sudden he was so attractive and I could not remove my eyes of him.
I could slowly realise his hands snapping in front of me and trying to get my response. I blinked and slided my eyes aside just to move the attention away from him. I looked at my watch it was past 7 already. I stood up and said it's too late and I should be leaving now, then will catch up next time. I could see his sad expression when I said about leaving. I told him since we got back together we have a lot of time for us to hang out and we can meet at anytime.
On my way to my house I was still thinking about Jake and also was worried about what my brother would be thinking now. Or will he be mad at me or will jake also ignore me after this. When I entered the door I saw my brother lying on the couch reading his book and I could not resist watching him as soon as I enter. Suddenly I saw mom and she asked me if jake is already home or I just left him all alone. I said his house is on the way back so I dropped him off and I came. My brother woke up sitting on the couch and looked at me. I was distracted again from looking at mom and my brother but still my mom talking. I hurried back to my room and left my bag on the bed. Still not sure about what my brother is thinking about me. But could sense that he is just not sure if he can open up or should he hide his feelings. And am I overthinking about him liking me or would it be a kind of prank or just to find out or expose myself to parents.
