My phone lights up and I see a notification from wattpad. I smile, I always get happy when people react to comments I left. Makes me feel less lonely I guess. I quickly pick up my phone and open it.
"You're welcome bub I'm now gonna keep calling you that and hopefully you don't die because of it" I quickly reply. "no I'm probably gonna die but I love it so much".
"But you're okay with me calling it? If not I can always call you something that makes you feel comfortable"
"no I'm totally okay with you calling me it"
Just as I'm about to put away my phone she responds. "okay bub"
I smile at my phone. I reply asking if they have insta or anything so we can chat. She seems really nice and I hope we could be friends. Before I know it I am messaging her.
Me: Hi, it's me :) from wattpad
Unknown number: Hi bub!
Me: You are gonna be the reason of my death if you keep calling me that...
Me: I love it ;)
Me: So like what's your name?
Reason of death: It's Darcy
Me: cool name! My name is Alina
Reason of death: So are you really okay with me calling you bub? Sorry just want to make sure
Me: Yea I'm really okay with it :) I love it^^ A lot :p
Reason of death: Okay! Sorry I just wanted to make sure I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable-
Me: tbh that's really cute :D also you dont have to apologize for that
