Ayano, by that time, was out of bed. She stretched and went to the kitchen to make some toast. She was a little tired from sleeping late last night, but it didn't matter to her.
She took a big bite out of the toast and put it back on the plate to then swiftly change to her uniform.

She wasn't rushing for a certain reason. She wanted to see what happened before people came to the school. She wanted to go there first.

After changing, she rushed over back to the table to eat the last bite of toast. She was quite surprised, herself, that she wanted to go to school this early.
But as said before, it didn't matter for her. All she wanted to see is the school without any living human beings. She only wanted to see the place as it it.

She took a deep breath for the effects, and started walking to school. She was rushing so much that she'd forgotten to tie her hair up into a ponytail.
She took her phone out to peek at the time, just to see if she would be there first. Before opening it, she looked at the black screen.

In it was her reflection. That was when she realised she completely forgot to tie her hair. She was a little bit.. embarrassed, which, was in fact quite weird for her, as she doesn't usually express many emotions.

She put her phone back in her pocket, not even bothering to look at the time like she usually would. After she put it back in her pocket, she saw she was already at school.

A few steps ahead was Megami, walking towards the school. She immediately felt the footsteps of someone, and turned around to see who it is.
Surprisingly enough, it was Ayano. The only sound that could be heard was silence for a few moments, until Megami fully turned around and said the following;

"Oh, hello there Ayano. I didn't expect you'd be here at such time. Is there anything I could help you with?" Megami says before she notices Ayano has her hair down.

"Oh.. She has her hair down. I've never seen it like this before." Megami thinks.

"Oh, hello there Megami! I just wanted to see such beautiful place without students. It looks stunning, doesn't it?" Ayano asks out of the top of her head.

"I couldn't say." Megami answers.
"As my fellow student councils members are not here, I'd like to invite you over to our Student Council room to discuss. I'll be making some tea." Megami continues.

"What an honour to be invited to such important activity. I'll gladly accept. Let's walk and talk."

"Of course."
Megami is now getting a tiny bit more comfortable. She wants to befriend Ayano, but she's not sure if she should do it.

Megami and Ayano walk slowly towards the school while talking about student council related topics. It isn't much of a secret that Megami is the student council president to anyone.

Ayano reaches out to take her black bookbag. She changes her shoes and proceeds to walk up the stairs and to the Student Council room.

Megami brings in freshly made strawberry morning tea to lighten up the mood a bit before they start discussing. She places the tea kettle along with the tea cups on what seems to be similar to a small cutting board.

She holds the tea kettle gently and pours the tea into the cups with grace. Ayano grins and slightly nods her head as a sign of expressing gratefulness before taking the tea cup and proceeding to sip a small sip of tea.

"Thank you for the tea, Megami." Ayano says and then smiles again.

"You're more than welcome, Ayano." Says Megami.

"Well, let me introduce you to the topic. I'd like to discuss with you about a few things, but before I name them, I'd like to ask you something." Megami says nervously.

"Go ahead."

"This may seem like a weird question to ask all of a sudden, but.."
Megami sighs.

"Do you have anything to do with all of what's been happening recently at Akademi? Please answer honestly."

"..." Ayano looks deeply in Megami's eyes.

"Shit. She's onto me. I think she may be catching onto what I'm doing.. but it can't be possible that I'll be caught, right? After all the girls that I killed, after everything I have done to keep them away from Senpai, after all this time, I can't get exposed right when I am going to confess, right?"

Ayano looks down.

"No. I do not and will not ever have anything to do with this at all. Killing someone is disgusting behaviour and I do not condone such insane actions done by anyone for any reasons given." Ayano says in disbelief of what Megami just asked.

"I think she's answering honestly. I mean, I can't suspect her now. Plus, I haven't got any evidence to back my claims up, and she does seem like she's telling the truth. She may look emotionless, but at the end of the day, it doesn't mean she's a killer. Or, well, at least I hope so."

"I.. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for asking such question."

Ayano smiles happily. "No worries."

"Would you be comfortable with getting a bit closer? Perhaps friends?" Megami asks not knowing what's to come.

Ayano stays silent for a few seconds.

"She's hitting my sweet spot. Ever since she appeared in this school, it just makes Senpai make me feel less and less alive. He doesn't give me the feeling that he used to give me when I was around him. I don't know if I can let go of him just yet, or even if I'm ready to.. but perhaps, I'll have to, eventually.

"Wait, no - what am I saying? Of course he gives me the same feeling. We're meant to be together, we were destined to be together! He's my one and only! I NEED him! I do, right? Right?"

"Oh, who am I fooling.. It's true. He used to make me feel alive. Now he just makes me feel a little bit better. But making me feel 'a little bit better' won't help. It won't help at all.. He's not my soulmate. Someone else was meant for me."

"Yes, I'd love to be friends!" Ayano says, seeming quite excited.

"She said yes!" Megami thinks to herself. She grins smoothly, as she was pleased with the answer yes.
