Keith POV:

Of course the one time I decide to call Red, mom they have to follow me. I might as well just die right now. I thought. I didn't notice that I was staring off into space until Allura asked again. "I- uh y-yeah," I stuttered out. Nice going Kogane. I thought.

Red POV:

I saw my cub struggling to speak and I couldn't bear (A/N: Is that word right?) to watch. So I picked him up. (A/N: Picture above) I think I made it worse.

Lance POV:

While we were waiting for Keith to give us an actual answer I couldn't help but think that Keith looks so cute when he is embarrassed. (A/N: I am going to make Klance happen somewhere in this story) NO NO NO GET OUT GAY THOUGHTS!!!! I screamed in my head. I was interrupted from my thoughts when Red suddenly picked up Keith. It kinda reminded me of how a lion picks up their cub.

Keith POV:

This day can not get any worse. I thought. Then you know what happened, it got worse. Red suddenly picked me up by my jacket. I stand corrected. (I decided not to do the I thought parts anymore because it is already in italics)

"Umm Keith..." Shiro started.

"I know," I said, interrupting him. "Red please put me down." I said.

Not until you call me mom again." Red said to me.

"Really Red, really!" I said.

Yep!" Red said. "Fine, have it your way. Mom please put me down." And with that I was now on the ground. I got up and remembered that everybody is here watching me. I have never wanted to die more in my life and that's saying something! Once again Allura asked the question. So, tired of beating around the bush I told everyone all about who I was talking to, that I was talking to Red in my head and explained why I was laughing.

Allura POV:

"Really?" I asked as everyone turned to look at me. "I've heard stories of a paladin being able to talk to their lions while inside the lion but never when their out of the lion." I told them. "Keith you and Red's bond must be very strong if you can do this and especially if she told you that you can call her mom." I said.

Pidge POV:

"Hey Keith" I said.

"Hmm?" He said.

"Do you mind if I run some tests on you to see why you and Red's bond is so strong?" I asked hoping he would say yes.

"Oh um sure Pidge I don't mind when do you wanna start," Keith asked.

"We could start right now if you don't mind" I said.

"Sure, let's head there now" Keith said.

"Call us when you get answers please," Shiro said. And with that Keith and I went off to my I mean the lab.

Lance POV:

After Pidge and Keith left I asked the question that I was sure was on everyone's minds, "so now what?"
