After you said his name, unconsciously, you cover your hand over your mouth, your eyes as wide as a cats'.
"what.. how.." he stares at you, his smirk long gone, covered with a shocked expression. Including a tint of disgust.
At that moment he had removed his hands from the certain position they were originally in ( they were holding your wrists, forcing you to stay on top of him, a few seconds ago, basically the first chapter).
You too this chance to take your leave. You quickly remove yourself from that position and try to evade the situation, as if you never had said his name.
'crap' you thought, mentally slapping your ace in irritation, not believing how stupid you were being at the time.
As you attempted to run away, he had caught your ankle, gripping it tightly.
This force had caused you to immensely fall, in front of him.
"Shit!" You blurted out as you try to regain your stamina as quick as possible. You crawled slowly , your hands pushing yourself, effortingly, to get up.
But you were a step behind, As Suna was already in front of you, with his hands tightly around your wrists once again.
Not flirtingly like when you were on top of him not too long ago, but wanting you to stay put.
"Ugh, let me go! I do not know who you are!" you blurt out saying, while struggling at the same time trying to desperately attempting to escape his grasp.
The entire time after you had said his name, you had avoided his eye contact, which was clear to him enough that you had not mistakenly said his name and that you had known him, even though he had not recognized you.
He had held your hands with his right hand, and lifted your chin with his left, just high enough for you to make deep eye contact with him.
'Crap, just what I wanted to avoid' you say to yourself in your head.
His eyes seemed sadder than they were when you last had seen him. After you left, you cut off all of your connections, scared and petrified of what could happen and the variety of consequences.
America seemed fine to you. Life was amazing, everything was perfect, and you had made a couple of very good friends there.
But there was always something deep down in your soul.
It was filled with guilt, sadness, and even depression of what you did. Even though it may have seemed like life was at the best, it was not. A piece of yourself was missing, and you tried everything you could to fix it.
You desperately tried so many formulas, so many things, that might have been able to fill the void in your heart, that was in desperate need.
But you just ignored, as if it did not even exist. You were basically a robot. A robot who was just there.
